Recommendations running multi instances of OneNote

Hi Experts!

We use a lot OneNote (our version is Microsoft® OneNote® for Microsoft 365 MSO Version 2208 Build 16.0.15601.20148, 64-bit).  There has been times that any of us would click OneNote (unaware an instance running) and open various instances and just keep working,  What I would like is u guys opinion and/or recommendations of this activity, having working with various instances of OneNote in same User, same PC.  Can I run OneNote various instances? Any danger to this?

Thanx in advance

Thank u!

Is this feature of multi-instances part of OneNote or something a user discovered?

(I just want to make sure my data don't get corrupted)

The fact that you can do it with a menu option within OneNote (File > New Window) suggests it's a feature of OneNote.

Oh I know abut thr file>>New, is that when I use it it doesn't open another instance, it just ask what to open (see pix below) - I click "Recent" and get a list of as below - it's confusing to get it will open another instance

Sorry... it's View > New Window, not File > New.
