Box Backup Solution

Is anyone using Box and if so how do you back up data? Box doesn't have a solution only a 14-day retention policy regarding deleted emails. They do save revisions but this is not considered a backup solution.

We use Synology and Acronis the majority of time for backups. Acronis has a MS 365 cloud-to-cloud backup solution for email and OneDrive. I like Box better though and have many clients using it, so looking for a Box cloud-to-cloud backup solution.

Are you sure you have selected the correct topics for this Question? One of them you have selected is "Windoze XP"!!!

I'm sure that can't be correct, as Windoze XP has been out of support for about a decade now. Using such an old & vulnerable OS these days is totally irresponsible, & connecting it to the internet (which a cloud backup depends on) is even worse. If anyone still runs Windoze XP, then it must be in a hermetically isolated environment.

@rindi, thanks. Didn't even notice, think I was in a hurry getting this post out. I removed it and topics now include, Storage Software, Acronis, Cloud Services, and Disaster Recovery.

@David, I'm testing Acronis and how it backs up the Box drive. At first it caused strange behavior with file locks but this went away after the first backup finished. I should be done testing today or tomorrow. It's not a good feeling "wondering" if file lock is going to be an issue with backups.

Have you used 2Brightsparks SyncBackPro yourself? I'm testing this out today and will keep you posted.

I have no idea where BOX comes into play when it comes to email retention.

As for Acronis Backup and file locks.. you have to test the restore.. a backup that is not tested is not a backup.

I do use SyncbackPro (its not a backup product but a SYNCing tool.

I haven't come up with a permanent solution yet, still testing the solutions David recommended.
