Help in questions in Twitter app

Hi Experts!

Please advise on the following Twitter question,

  • I always receive my daily emails from info@twitter.com of topic of interest.  Recently I have noticed on the emails twits of users I have no interest in; how do I excluded these particular users from my info@twitter.com  emails?
  • How to stop receiving emails of certain Twitter users  in twitters and see history
  • Is there a way to see history of Tweets I have clicked on to read?
  • How do I see the history of searches I have done in Twitter?
  • And how to delete the searches done in Twitter?

basically, your concern is your tweeting privacy in terms of history, search and recommendations.

you can do things from your Twitter portal via the web.

1. from your Twitter homepage you can see the recommended tweets, and they are the same or similar to what recommended tweets in the emails as per your known preferences. change the preferences as shown in the below screenshot.

2. the search history can be cleared as demonstrated below.

Hi bbao,

Thank u for the history/search/clear.

As for " stop receiving emails of certain Twitter users", I have to click on every twitter user in the email the '...' and 'not interested'?

Also, how to see history of Tweets I have Clicked on to read?

"stop receiving emails of certain Twitter users"

the easy way to do that is to "opt-out" or "unsubscribe" from the email list. the link should be available at the bottom of every email you received from Twitter.

how to see history of Tweets I have Clicked on to read?

i don't think Twitter keeps a "read" history of tweets.

  • The specific email of twitter user I want to stop receiving from, is within an email that composes of 4 to 6 other twitter user - how do I stop receiving that specific user?
is within an email that composes of 4 to 6 other twitter user

do you mind to upload a few screenshots for better understanding?

Here is an example blurred out, it's one email received yesterday, and I it have 3 twitter users in it.  I want to stop receiving the middle user (the letters in red) - How do IU do this?

at first, i don't think there is a way to directly "mute" that Twitter account in email notifications.

however, the preferences apparently are based on the search, view and interaction history of your Twitter account in use, therefore, your way to alter preferences does have an impact on this - as illustrated above, you can use the below way to let Twitter know what you like or dislike.

I did find that there is "mute [user name], mute conversation, block" in the 3 dot as u suggest (see below), I haven't seen "not interested" as in your link (remember I am more to twitter users that some way or another uploaded to my twits)

As for users I don't want to show up in my twitter page, use which one of mute [user name], mute conversation, block

As for emails, have u seen an option in the email section I can excluded XYZ users to appear in my email notifications?

Can you just unfollow those members?

But I don't know where.  When Scott Fell gave me the address for notification, looking within I found the screen that fix or setup the account as desired.
