International roaming data cost and how calculated?
We visited another country and added international roaming to our U.S. phone plan. We could not access the account from their website to see how the charges were adding up. As it turns out we had over 295MB of data at 25 cents per MB.
25 cents x 295 = only $73.75 (??)
We never used the phone for phone calls only text. When the phone was turned on we got several sound alerts before they finally stopped. I guess the data was being sent to the phone upon power on.
How does data accumulate as MB and what is contained in data?
The MB shown below are not the same every day and we never turned the phone on at 6am or 12am or 12pm.

As for your times, was it local time or US time? It could also be that they only collect data on the data ever 6 hours - data is not something that generally happens in large bursts like that.
And I have no idea if anyone here (or anyone outside your cell provider) can give you the answer you want, but if you want a better understanding of how a company does something, you really need to indicate WHAT company you're with.

I never accessed any of the things above except to view saved photos and to check gmail maybe once and once or twice used Chrome. An example there for Chrome is I downloaded the app for Dominos Pizza so I could order from their app at the store. If that had a nice cost then the 2nd pizza was not free.
