Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart.
Hello,
I have Windows Server 2016 and Windows update automatically started. Windows has installed the updates but after rebooting a blue screen occurred. I tried to boot from safe mode the same issue. I tried the option F8 "windows last good known configuration" it did not work. I tried to run sfc scannow /f /r /x but it did not help.

Just at the time you need it. Well, I'm tapped out of ideas for a quick fix but I think one of the other experts may have some insight. It is unfortunate that this is Sunday night, but on Monday morning (expect 12 hours) when the US starts to wake up there should be more replies.

"We're having trouble getting to your mailbox right now. please refresh the page or try again later"
look if you have dmp files in windows\minidumps, and post the recent one
What does the blue screen say? And as nobus mentioned, if you can post the minidump, that could likely help. (You may have to boot from the Windows media in order to access the drive)
Do you know which updates were installed?
Also, try unplugging EVERY device and cable (keyboard, mouse, network, etc) except for power and display and then reboot.

Tried to dir from command prompt via windows repair but couldnt find the file.

@Nobus - sounds like he went to a command prompt and typed DIR to get a list of files.
Make sure you make a backup copy of all the exchange files before you do any resets or anything that could lead to the loss of those files.
And ideally a snapshot dump of the registry, too.
if he types dir from prompt - he should first tell us why - and at what location, or post a picture
I know it is too late is this instance but for future reference you should manage your updates to avoid these type of problems.
2) Do you have a recent full backup of the system which can be restored?
