<p>I have a spare key for my 2012 buick lacrosse but I found that it has snapped off. See images. I went down to the car and used a plyers to hold the key and try to turn it on. This did not work. Then, when I tried the good key that I have been using it took 3 tries before it started. &nbsp;Odd thing is when I turned off the car and went back to the snapped off key it started right up. When I turned it off I could not get it to start with the snapped key and then it was about 3 times again to start it with the good key. I guess my question is, why does this snapped key not work?
