Help with Nintendo WII not connecting to TV

Hi Experts!

My colleague have a 2006 Nintendo WII Model RVL-101(USA).  She used to use it a year ago with no problem.  She packed it up and and now she wanted to play it.  She connected to her TV, selected the WII interface.  The TV says no connection.  I checked if it was on and yes.  Also inserted a CD, but to no avail.  I am searching the web for troubleshooting and solution, is any experts have any knowledge of this, let me know

Thanx in advance

TV's don't have a WII interface, she likely named the input to which the WII is connected to know which input to select. But the question is what cabling is she using and have you asked her to reseat all connectors on both ends? Possbile connections are an adapter connected to the WII that has HDMI output or the standard 3 cinch cables (yellow, white, red). Even without CD you should get the WII menu.

Thank u guys!

FYI, it was a straight forward setup, followed the links and worked - as a matter of fact, also noticed that if the "antenna" is not placed same level of the TV, it flawed also.

Anyways all good!!
