We are trying to Print to PDF -not exporting. I incorrectly typed "save as pdf."




It is Windows 11.

I have a client creating files using her Sibelius music notation software. She then wants to save here files ad PDF for publishing. Often, when she chooses the "Save as pdf" option the characters are not correctly recognized. She is using Adobe Acrobat as her pdf reader. I am attaching 3 images of the problem. The first image is what the original file looks like and the other 2 are the result of saving as PDF.&nbsp; Any thoughts of suggestions on getting the optical character recognition to work better in this transition? Saving as PDF

A Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format consisting of an electronic image resembling a printed document and can be viewed, printed, and electronically transmitted. PDF files can store various types of data, including formatted text, vector graphics, and raster images. The page layout defines the location, size, and shape of each page and each item on the page. The information looks the same no matter what device or program is used to open it.

The family comprises Acrobat Reader (formerly Adobe Reader), Acrobat (formerly Acrobat Exchange) and Acrobat.com. The commercial proprietary Acrobat, available for Microsoft Windows and OS X only, can also create, edit, convert, digitally sign, encrypt, export and publish PDF files.
