See & remove apps in memory now in Android
Hi Experts!
I have a Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) Android 12 and I would like to know what apps are in memory (not the viewable apps, rather the ones in the background), similar to the apps I can see in Windows Task manager.
I found the area that displays the apps in memory (see pix below), but it displays based on how long ago and I need to see what’s install now:
pix of where I found the option:
The actual area that displays the apps:
I want to do in the Android what I do in windows 10, periodically search what’s in memory at the moment and if I find something not belonging, delete it from memory. I did notice that I can “force to stop” these apps (I don’t know if this is the equivalent to removing from memory or I have to do something else)
Please advice

What is quad symbol?
The square in the bottom bar, used to switch between "running" apps.

As said it doesn't make sense to do that, but ...
The only way I know of to temporarily stop apps is to go into Setup > Apps, into each individual app, and stop if running. Probably there are apps which make it easier to kill running processes, but since the use cases are arguable, and management has changed between Android releases, I don't think so.

Yes, as placed in my question 'I did notice that I can “force to stop” these apps' but since removing apps is as by the quad symbol and stopping apps in memory, doesn't guarantee remove from memory, that said, your comment "Probably there are apps which make it easier to kill running processes", makes sense.
Any ideas of an apps that removes apps found in "Memory used by apps"?
I don't know of any such app.
Stopping a process does remove them from memory.

Stopping a process does remove them from memory.
- I understood no, you said Stopping apps that way is not persistent ... they will eventually get started again
Buit ok, I am still searching...
I really don't get what you are after. If you stop a process or service on Windows, it might get started again by other processes. Android is not different (but hides more details).

- Same thing I do in windows, I remove apps in memory and "stop" services, and if necesarry identify the apps pertaining to the service and uninstall it.

How are you going to determine what is not 'belonging'?
- As I did with Windows, made an image of how Task Manager is running
- Then check each apps in memory to determine who they pertain to
- Each apps also see if necessary to Windows, if not i Kill it or uninstall it
We could suggest you start with a task manager app for Android
- Wow! How have I search for these apps with no success!!!!
- Thanx!!
Stopping apps that way is not persistent, it's like if you kill processes belonging to services in Windows - they will eventually get started again.
The apps in cache as displayed by the quad symbol only show foreground processes, and those can be removed, as they only show apps you started yourself. But usually the is no gain in doing so.
