Installation of Crystal report 2008 on new laptop
I am moving/ installing software from my old laptop to new one. I have Crystal Report 2008 installed on old laptop
I have my installation key/ product key but I lost my Crystal Report 2008 CD. Can I download and install 2008 from net with my product key. Or I have to have CD?
To me that looks like an ancient software, 2008 is more than 10 Years ago. You should look for something that is current, not antique.

I am looking for upgrade to 2020 but not sure if I will be prompted for media during installation of crystal report 2020 on top of 2008.

I've run the Setup on 2 W10 and got the error shown below. Despite the error, the Software starts as it should.
looks like they have updates but not the original installation

someone posted a message to download the RTM version but the link is no longer valid
seems 2016 is the earliest available for a trial (not sure if the trial can be converted to a full version)
came across another post of the full install with SP3 but that site is no longer there
if you can't find the media, might need to get a newer version
