How can I download and reinstall onedrive on Windows 10 laptop?
The laptop has Windows 10 and Microsoft 365.
Long story short. Onedrive has been problematic. I uninstalled it so I could do a fresh install.
Nope. Can’t do it.
- Search for ‘download onedrive’ yields: download onedrive - Search (bing.com)
- Clicking the Go to Download button takes me to another page. Clicking Download tells me it is aleady installed because I have Win 10. Only offers me the ability to download the mobile app.
- Went to my MS 365 account. Found and clicked the Download apps option
- It downloaded fresh copies of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. But not Onedrive.
Facts:
- Onedrive.exe Not on C drive
- Regedit has it in three places
- My User account has the onedrive business folder set up and populated
- The six folders in aggregate use 94 GB of storage to hold 28K folders and 128K files.
- Most, but not all, of them are in the same structure on the MS cloud

Hi Nobus. That site is the one that ignores my clicking the Download button and just offers the mobile app offer.

Correction, Nobus, It does let me download OneDriveSetup.exe but that tells me a newer version of OneDrive is already installed.
Go to ninite.com. Its a site where you can create a reusable tool that will download and install (or Update) many common applications.
Just click the items you want and download the tool.
On Drive is one its options in the Online Storage category.

Thank you. it turned out that Nobus had given me a correct solution. I so marked his suggestion as the Solution.
Did you actually check the m$ store I suggested? That is the official way to download & install the m$ crapps as well as real programs that run on current m$ Windoze versions. The m$ OneDrive crapp is available via the store.

Hi Rindi. I did not check the MS store because already having Microsoft 365 installed, Nobus's recommendation also made good sense and did work. Had it not worked, the MS store would have been my next choice.
