change recall email time limit

In order to recall a message effectively in Outlook 365, I need to delay the mail a minute or two. How can I do that so that I can recall email.

Yes, but that is not a recall of the message.

It even allows you to remove the message before the message is gone, if the message is still in the "Outbox".

I may have misunderstood your requirement here.  Isn't delaying the actual send effectively increasing the time to decide to recall?

If there is no other option, then delay rule would be the next best thing.  Essentially its the same thing, different method.

So there is no way to delay a recall on the backend?
Check Gmail in that you have this feature. You can undo in 30 seconds. But not in O365.
