How do I write a VB.net program that accesses an MS Access database and updates an existing Excel spreadsheet and creates an Excel spreadsheet.

Over the years I have written a lot of programs in VB6.  I'm unable to install my old VB6 distribution disks on Windows 10 for some reason.  So the time has come to upgrade to VB.net.

I need someone to show me the code necessary to run a VB.net stand-alone program that 1) accesses an MS Access database via SQL calls, and 2) reads and updates an existing Excel spreadsheet and 3) creates an Excel spreadsheet.

Have you asked for help installing VB6 on Windows 10?  I develop it in for a client and it's not particularly hard to install, but you can't install MDAC.  There's a tool you can use to install it - http://nuke.vbcorner.net/Articles/VB60/VisualStudio6Installer/tabid/93/language/en-US/Default.aspx - but generally, if you just skip MDAC, I believe it installs fine.

As for help with VB.NET - there are DOZENS of tutorials for accessing databases and spreadsheets.

First two results I got:
