esxi vGPU

Hello,

We are interested in deploying windows desktops with a vGPU or a remote desktop farm with vGPU.  What kind of software do I need for that?  I read that you need esxi enterprise plus to slice up the GPU.  Can i get it to run on Hyper-V?  Also heard I need to license the Grid software from Nvidia.  Does anyone have experience with this?

Where do i get License for Nvidia Grid software? is it per user or per machine?

Are you sure I need Horizon?  I think i can skip it for now until we are ready to grow.

Nvidia.

Depends how large a deployment you want to do, VMware BLAST is the best end user technology, and gives a far better end user experience, how else would they connect RDP ?

i was thinking about spinning up a remote desktop farm and assigning vGPU to each session host.  From there, the end users would connect in via RDP.  Would that work?

You need to test and see if RDP offers the end user experience required its old technology and there are better available today
