have a client with LibreOffice and she gets these files that come in calc and now suddenly they are all read only files. I am not familier with LibreOffice, so I am needing some assistance with this issue. I took some snapshots of the file properties. In the first one in Attributes it is has "read only" selected but when I go to security tab it shows full control and they are all grayed out and I cannot change them. if the files are from someone else, then ask that person to remove the "read only" option before sending.

Alternately, copying the file and saving it to a location in the users home path may resolve the issue as well.

not too sure about that, i know it won't work with pdf files.
