Is there a way in Business Objects to send some sort of HTTP keep alive to our Proxy so it doesn't think the connection is done and close while the report is still processing large datasets.

I work for a large company that uses a Proxy server for its clients to gain access to the internet. I am managing an application that is hosted on a vendor's data warehouse environment (SaaS) we call it. They have a C# application running off Windows Servers and databases are MS SQL Server. They have integrated their app with Business Objects for their reporting solution.

When our users go to run a business objects report that takes over 3 minutes to process our Proxy server errors out and drops the connection with a 503 error.

Our organization's policy is to have Proxy timeout after 180s (3 min).
