Has anyone used Checkpoint's Harmony solution to protect Android and iOS devices and how was it?
Hi Everyone.
I am looking into a solution that can protect mobile devices (for iOS devices we don't need to use a MDM solution), and is easy to deploy and manage. I saw a demo at RSA recently and was curious on your thoughts of Checkpoint or another solution that is working for your organization. Thank you in advance.
Agree with expert. If it is corporate device, MDM will be sort of the baseline as in you wouldn't want device to be jailbroken and still in use.
There are layer of defence to properly reduce exposure hence the introduction of MAM and MTD which latter go into advanced threat detection even at malicious OS activities such as tampering and interception traffic, phished url, WiFi spoofed traffic from suspicious AP, etc.. the former on sanctioned apps on the enterprise store as well.
BYOD device is harder w/o MDM due to privacy concern hence the MAM and MTD will be key and leveraging mobile OS built in sandboxing to protect certain corporate apps if any installed.
I did not use harmony but I feel it is alluding to its mobile suite which essentially still cover the mdm, mam, mtd

From what threat? IMO, a MDM would be a better solution.
