Change Power BI reports in Power BI web part based on quick link clicked in SharePoint
I have a modern SharePoint Site with a Power BI Web part. What I would like to do is have my quick links change the report that is showing in the web part. I have 4 Power BI reports and I want to have 4 links (buttons) so when a user clicks on a button, the corresponding report shows. Currently, I have 4 separate pages for each report, but I would rather have 1 if possible.
Thanks for your help!
Thank you for your detailed instructions. I think I am missing something. I can add a Power BI web part and then assign the Power BI Report's URL to it. This displays that one report. If I then create a quick link web part on the page and then assign the URL to another report, that report doesn't show in the Power BI web part. Instead, the link takes me to the workspace where the report is located. How do I associate the change in the quick link to the power bi web part?
Let me know if you have other thoughts. The approach you outlined above works if you have 4 pages with the different Power BI reports and then quick links that links to each, but it didn't solve the issue of using the quick links to target the same page's Power BI web part to change reports.
