Where are Microsoft Edge Favorites stored?

I had a users who's profile got corrupt. I backed it up and created a new profile. I am trying to copy the Microsoft Edge Favorites but can't find them. According to Google they should reside in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Bookmarks but there is nothing there. There are a few conflicting locations mentioned. Does anyone know where there really are?

There is no "Bookmarks" file in C:\Users\StationEightOld\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default

I need to start by confirming where is should be: "There are a few conflicting locations mentioned. Does anyone know where there really are?"

Do you have any favorites in Edge now? Check to see if you have a folder in C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Packages

called something like Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge and check in there under \AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\Favorites

If the Bookmark isn't found in your C:\Users\StationEightOld\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Bookmarks, then you're either in the wrong account, or it got moved or deleted, or someone never used Edge.  You can do a search under C:\Users\StationEightOld\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\ to see if you can find it.

This is where the confusion comes in. Even the location seems to be in question but lets start with the specifics. What am I looking for? A Favorites folder?, a file called Favorites?,  a Bookmarks file?, a Bookmarks folder?

Chrome makes it pretty easy....

What am I looking for?

a file simply called bookmarks

Thanks. You know...... Edge is really, really similar to Chrome in a lot of ways :)

I think the confusion is due to the fact that Edge has changed this location. This is most like due to the fact that Microsoft with with the Chromium implementation after it was first released.
