Web Service including RDS MS Sql Server Connection in C#

I am creating a web service, written in C#, that needs to connect to a Aws Rd Ms Sql server to insert records into a database/table.  I am using Notepad++ to generate my code.

What is the best way to connect within the web service?

I am not real thrilled about having the connection parameters within the web service but I don't know of any other way.

Any suggestions/help appreciated.

put the login information into the application data

The web service will run on YOUR machines and as always physical access trumps security.

if you want you can obscure the connection details by using variables and manipulating the variables before you pass the variable to the api that connects to the database.

Thank you for responding.

That is an good solution but in this case, it isn't going to work.

I apologize for not explaining more fully in my initial post.

My web service will be called by outside business.

So passing the connection details in variables to the webservice won't work.

I was just wondering if there was something that could be used like an include etc.

Thank you for responding.

I apologize. I misinterpreted what you meant.

My response was poorly written.

I know what you meant, putting the login info in the application, which is pretty common approach.

and not having the 'user' sent it etc.
