sharepoint sync taking up disk space
I have a user who is syncing sharepoint folders locally but it's taken up all of their disk space and she said she needs access to all the files. I thought I could map the sharepoint site as a network drive instead, but I don't think it's no longer supported or recommended by Microsoft. Should I just advise the user to use sharepoint via the browser instead of locally, not sure what else I could try?

Remind the user that sync is intended to be used for files that she will need to work with offline. All other files should be worked with while they are within SharePoint during an online session. If she is working primarily offline, then she should have the storage that is needed to sync and store a large amount of data.
Hope that helps...
