How can I use different colors for diff HEADING-1's (while keeping the structure the same, for example ...

Heading-1    <--- RED

   Heading-2

   Heading-2

Heading-1    <--- BLUE

do you want to use 2 colors throughout the document, or one color for the TOC & the other for the document?

There isn't an automatic way to have different colors for the same TOC level. The styling of a Table of Contents is created with the TOC1 style that displays the Heading 1 information, TOC2 that shows Heading 2, etc. All Heading 1 items will display in the TOC1 style, which is preset to a particular color. You could select a TOC line and manually change the font color, but that will be reset to the TOC1 color the next time the TOC is updated.

I'm looking for multiple Header-1 colors in the Document.  Not as interested in how the TOC looks.

I have several pages of text related to Baseball, then for my next couple dozen pages, it is related to Football, hence I want the reader to see immediately whether they are in Baseball Section of Football Section, when they randomly open up the Document to whatever page.
