Scan to email issue HP printer - The printer is unable to validate the server's secuirty Certifivate
Have you updated the firmware on this printer? It may include an update to TLS.
There are still new firmware releases for this printer, so that's your first start.
If after that, it doesn't work, change the configuration to your own mail server and forward it to the final location. Usually handy if you only send to yourself or users in the same email domain, NOT handy if you send to random recipients. Then again, it's not very polite to send to anyone directly from the printer, as you're imposing on them to try to identify and decipher a weird random email with a weird subject, and they have to call you to ask you what you did, which adds more time for a final reaction. It's better to get it in your own mailbox, and forward it, changing both subject and body to reflect in normal language why/what you're sending.
In case you're scared of the "your own mail server" section, it can be even on a random PC in the network, with free software: https://www.hmailserver.com/download
It's configured within minutes if you're IT savvy, and an hour if you're not.
As Michael is mentioning: did you follow the procedure as indicated by the printer using the link to the certificates page?
