High CPU usage of Outlook process.

Hi All,

One user opens his Microsoft Outlook to access our Exchange Server to read his emails and the CPU usage of Outlook process is up to 30-40%. The respond of Outlook is very slow. This situation will keep around two hours every time. For example, he opens Outlook and CPU usage of Outllook process use 30-40%, after two hours, the CPU usage is back to 5-6%. User close his Outlook and restart Outlook again, the CPU usage of Outlook is back to 30-40%. So, user does not close his Outlook now.

I tried to delete ans recreate his Outlook profile on this computer, but the situation still happened. I tried to reinstall Outlook and run Windows update for Microsoft office components,  but the situation still happened.

When he uses the other computer to open Outlook, ther is no this issue.

Any idea?

Best Regards,

Borland.

Hi gr8gonzo,

It works. The problem did not happen again after I disable Windows Search service. Does it mean that I need to repair the Windows OS ?
