I certainly need help with Power query converting text to a date type. All, please note date comes out with year, month and then day. &nbsp;(as shown in below image)Thus my question is: &nbsp;what do I put in the Custom column Formula - I can't just convert to Date.&nbsp; I'm going to have to parse out first the text to Day-Month-Year from above. &nbsp; &nbsp;If I were using VBA, I could do Left([MeasurementDay], 4) + Mid([MeasurementDay], 5, 2) + Right([MeasurementDay], 2) I tried the following formula: &nbsp;Text.End([MeasurementDay], 2)&amp; "/"&amp; Text.Middle([MeasurementDay], 5, 2)&amp; "/"&amp; Text.Start([MeasurementDay], 4) But I get an Error for the value in the column. <a href="https://filedb.experts-exchange.com/incoming/2024/01_w04/1629371/1705965335510.png" rel="ugc"><img src="https://filedb.experts-exchange.com/incoming/2024/01_w04/1629371/1705965335510.png" class="fr-fic fr-dib"></a>
