New iPads But Can't Find the New Notifications
We bought two new iPads, for our kids.  When they try to install their games, they receive a button prompting them to click "Ask".  But, my wife's iPhone does not get any notifications to approve such installations like she used to when my kids had an old tablet.  How does she get these notifications, now?

I don't require this setup anymore but Apple KB has an article that describes what could be wrong. Such as contact information for the kids or focus being active on the iPhone.

The iPhone is a smartphone made by Apple Inc. It and the iPad, along with several other mobile devices from Apple, run on the iOS operating system, which has its own topic, as does the iPad for device-specific questions. Native iOS applications are written in Objective-C or in Swift using the Cocoa Touch frameworks or HTML5 compiled with the help of a package manager such as Adobe PhoneGap; a common IDE is Xcode.
