Hi
I decided to help an old friend with an online store, me doing the shipping.
Initially, it went fine, but recently, he ran up over $15,000 on billings that weren't for the store.
He bought a top o the line mountain bike :
| YT Industries USA Inc SAN CLEMENTE CA#74793386401SG36AF | +$5,265.36 |
Does the FBI consider this to be worth their time? How about the cops?
There are plenty more. He acts like he's Jordan Belfort to impress women.
He said he'd pay me back, but I doubt that. Doesn't the FBI want to know about all cyber crime for stats? How can I get my money back?
Thanks

It's more likely theft unless the funds don't exist
This is one you might want to consider getting professional legal advice for if you can't manage it simply by talking it out. If it is fraud & committed by a business you have a controlling financial interest in you may have some liability.
If it is just theft, might I get a law enforcement flag on him at the airport when he tries to come back?
