contentkeeper question

hi:

I heard about contentkeeper web filtering and was wondering: how easy would it be to get a physical appliance or even use the azure appliance?

my idea is to get a more advanced web filter for my homs network, and wondered if contentkeeper could do it.

Yes, ContentKeeper can run as a physical or Azure appliance, but realistically it is not marketed or licensed for home use. You would be better off with something like NextDNS or Pi-hole if your aim is advanced but manageable home filtering.

right, but I guess I was wondering how to actually get that setup. on one hand, I hear you need to contact CK directly. on the other  I have noticed several of these appliances floating around on ebay.

so I guess I was wondering how to actually get them running.

I guess my question was, is it possible to get one of these appliances without going through contentkeeper directly? or must you. I see https://contentkeeper.com and it just says book a demo. but at the same time I also see this https://www.ativion.com/contentkeeper/

I wasn't sure if that required license.

o, and there's also thishttps://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps/imperosolutionsltd1586255668947.contentkeeper?tab=overview

update: I heard I guess their new “gateway” was the hybrid, where you do both both appliance and cloud.

though I don't think I need cloud version.

would something like fortigate work better for this???

The cyber security specialization covers the fundamental concepts underlying the construction of secure systems, from the hardware to the software to the human-computer interface, with the use of cryptography to secure interactions. Cyber security refers to the protection of personal or organizational information or information resources from unauthorized access, attacks, theft, or data damage. This includes controlling physical access to the hardware, as well as protecting against the harm that may come via network access, data and code injection, and due to malpractice by operators, whether intentional, accidental, or due to them being tricked into deviating from secure procedures.
