I'm currently running windows 7 with adobe FMLE.  It requires a physical soundcard, otherwise, it doesn't work, gives me some kind of errors I believe.
I'm trying to virtualize all my servers and I can't virtualize this one because I'm using scale computing, and they don't have any options to provide a software "physical" sound card.  I confirmed with support that is not an option.

Is there anyway to modify FMLE or or run other software or something, to able to run it in a VM?

My vulnerability scanner keeps screaming that one of my Server 2012 R2 Standard servers is running a vulnerable version of Flash, which I can't find.  The server has all the latest Windows Updates and I have uninstalled the User Experience feature and rebooted and rescanned, don't know what else to try on this one.

I cannot get Chrome to run Flash even following all the tips I have found searching for solutions. Flash works fine on Edge, Firefox and IE.

I am running:
Windows 10 Version 1703 (Creators Edition) 64 bit
Chrome 58.0.3029.110 (64 bit)
Flash 25.0.0.171

I tried all the steps in
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6258784?hl=en

In Chrome/Settings/Advanced/Content Settings, Flash is set to "Ask first before allowing site to run Flash" , but it makes no difference if I set it to Always.

If I go to page with Flash, Chrome never asks if I want to run Flash.

I uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled Chrome, but that made no difference.

One suggestions was to check the size of pepflashplayer.dll in
"C:\Users\[my account name]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PepperFlash\25.0.0.171" to see if it was 64 bit. It is 30,389 KB which indicates 64 bit.

The security privileges of "C:\Users\[my account name]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome" (and subdirectories) allow Everyone full access.

Running Chrome as an Administrator makes no difference.

Any other suggestions?

I have a handful of users, using a proprietary application which is built in cold fusion and compiled as a swf file.  These users bring up a report in IE 11 and the text has disappeared within one of the flash objects on the page.

The text for these radio buttons and check boxes are actually rendering in white and with a white background which causes them to disappear.  This is only for a few users.  Does anyone have an idea of what would cause this to happen and are there settings i can change in IE to fix the issue?  IT renders properly with out issue in other browsers.

When you right click inside the flash object and choose the flash setting it grays the box and you can see the white text.  see attachment.  The other objects render on the page.  I just have no idea how to fix this.

We are a Win 7 x64 shop running IE 11.

Hi
I'm working on a trying to create a little flash file . Now I need to publish it on a blog. I have set up my Wordpress blog but I cannot include the files and we need to make the project fla and swf files accessible for downloading/viewing on the blog. Apparently this does not appear to be that simple.  I can’t figure out how to do this part and it is driving me mad. I thought I could do a dropbox link or something but no joy - could any help or know how I would best approach this .

Thank you!

Flash content from one website will not load when using ISP A

However, when you go to the local coffee shop and connect to ISP B, the flash content loads fine.

ISP has a good connection speed. Any ideas what the problem could be?

(This occurs when using Chrome, Firefox and Opera)

We have Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7 PCs.

 We want all our users to get prompted the following when Flash Player is running (see attachment AdobeFlash.jpg)...
    This webpage wants to run the following add-on: "Adobe Flash Player" from 'Adobe Systems Incorporated".

 Although all our PCs are configured exactly the same, only the users in the IS Department get prompted.   We suspect it's because these users have local Admin rights.  Since we cannot allow our end users to have local Admin rights, we need to determine where these settings are stored so we can address the situation.

 Our IE settings should be correct (see attachment IEsettings.jpg).

 Can anyone tell us where these settings are stored?  Windows Registry or a configuration file or ???

I am calling webservice to see next and coming up games for a certain soccer club ( it is Icelandic :) ).  I have working fla file where I call for status in a tournament,  with one variable in the request ( the number of tournament)
The code from that file:
import alducente.services.WebService;
import flash.events.*;

var ws:WebService = new WebService();
ws.addEventListener(Event.CONNECT, connected);
ws.connect("http://www2.ksi.is/vefthjonustur/mot.asmx?WSDL");
ws.cacheResults = true;
var initTime:Number;
function connected(evt:Event):void{
	ws.MotStada(done, "33903");	//called for "MotStada"(status in the tournament)"number of tournament",
}
function done(serviceResponse:XML):void{
	namespace soap = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/";
	namespace unnamed = "http://www2.ksi.is/vefthjonustur/mot/";
	use namespace soap;
	use namespace unnamed;
	trace("\nWeb Service Result: ");
	trace(serviceResponse);
}

Open in new window

But for this I need to put in more, as shown in the example http://www2.ksi.is/vefthjonustur/mot.asmx?op=FelogLeikir
How is that done?
Here is what I have done so far:

import alducente.services.WebService;
import flash.events.*;
var ws:WebService = new WebService();
ws.addEventListener(Event.CONNECT, connected);
ws.connect("http://www2.ksi.is/vefthjonustur/mot.asmx?WSDL");
//more info at http://www2.ksi.is/vefthjonustur/mot.asmx?op=FelogLeikir
//Call for games coming up for a club

ws.cacheResults = true;
var initTime:Number;
function connected(evt:Event):void{
	ws.FelogLeikir(done,"107"); /*<FelagNumer>String=107, <VollurNumer>String=All/not defined,<FlokkurNumer>String=111,<DagsFra>String=date from today, <DagsTil>String=date after ca 2months */
}
function done(serviceResponse:XML):void{
	trace("\nWeb Service Result: ");
	trace(serviceResponse);
}

I updated my Flash Player plugin to version 17.0.0.169 to address vulnerabilities.  However, once this was complete, my vSphere Web Client has crash issues - especially when I right click on a VM or when I am trying to open a console on a VM.  It works fine in Internet Explorer.  The error states"   Shockwave Flash may be busy, or it may have stopped responding.  You can stop the plugin now, or you can continue to see if the plugin will complete."  You have options to stop the plugin (crashes the browser) or continue waiting - generates an error: The Adobe Flash Plugin has crashed. - etc...

I uninstalled Firefox and Adobe Flash and re-installed both - still has the same issue and still works in IE.  I searched for issues related to this but nothing fresh and relevant came up.  Using a different user/profile produces the same result.

It is not a huge issue per se because it still runs in Internet Explorer (though it is a bit limited in IE.)  Attempts to disable, always allow, etc, have produced no positive results here.
