Are there any tools other than Microsoft Call Quality Dashboard and Skype Analytics for measuring Skype call quality? Audio? Conerence calls? Video? We are mostly a Cisco network. There are shortcomings in the MCQ dashboard that have not been addressed since we adopted it.

Would like to assess the data analytics solution in terms of security/risk for service below
(which uses Cloud):

"AAA Solutions, a local- based data and analytics consultancy, provides Information Management and Analytics support to our clients. Our seasoned practitioners bring established tried and trusted models developed through years of practical hands-on implementation and successful project delivery of Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence & Analytics systems. We apply an optimum mix of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive methods to drive business value, cost efficiencies and manage risk.
    To establish the Forecasting & Analytics System (FAS) integrating with the top-of-the-line Business Intelligence system and automation of the external variable extraction process to streamline analytics workflow.
    Data Source is using Qlik N-printing;
    Data Integration & Transaction svcs is using MS SSIS;
    Data Marts layer is by MS SQL 2017;
    Power BI is by O365;
    our on-prem AD sync to O365 AD"

Can only currently think in terms of encryption of data in transit, at rest & at endpoint.
What about data integrity (ConnectDirect did checksumming), cloud security (esp this one)?

I like MS SQL 2017 (as MS SQL 2016 only offers DB encryption in Enterprise Edition) offers
DB encryption even for the non-Enterprise edition

I have a large data (about 44,000 entries) with 10 variables and one outcome. I am trying to figure out a model that can predict the outcome (it is a true/false outcome). So far nothing can predict the outcome more accurately than 65%.
What am I doing wrong?
The outcome is whether the company car needs maintenance (true/false).
The variables are the ID number of person leasing the car, the age of the person leasing the car, starting odometer, ending odometer, starting time, ending time, area the car is being used and car model.
So far the best model that works is the average velocity and end odometer combined but it is not more than 65% accurate in predicting true.
The following variables have no predictive value: age, area, car model, time of day, day of the week

I have a .htaccess file that forces the website to go to https://mysite.com

So no matter how you type it, http://www, www, or whatever configuration it will always take the user to https://mysite.com

I am getting this message when going into Google analytics. Does this have to do with the fact that I have 2 domains in google console? What is the best thing to do regarding this message?

Property YourSite is receiving data from redundant hostnames. Some of the redundant hostnames are:

yoursite.com
www.yoursite.com

Redundant hostnames are counted as separate rows in reports, so hits that are going to the same page on your site from different hostnames will be split into multiple rows. With data split across multiple rows, traffic to specific pages will appear lower than it actually is.

To avoid this problem, consider setting up a 301 redirect from one of your redundant hostnames to the other, or create a search-and-replace filter that strips "www." from hostnames.

Google Tag Assistant Recordings can help you verify that your redirect is setup correctly, or that your filter is working as intended.

Hello,

I am trying to create a Tableau Line chart for the users to interactively select the measure based on the parameter selection.  Please see attached is the sample data.

I want to show the trend of discrepancy based on the report_date for each table. The "measure" should be interactive based on the parameter selection. There are 4 different measures in the attachment and based on each measure, I want the line chart to change.

I am a newbie to Tableau so please help. Thank you so much

Hi Experts,

I am debugging a share point web parts and I get run time errors for last a few days (I did''t see these errors at the beginning. ) and I have no idea where they are coming from.
I checked master pages and I couldn't find script that calls google analytics.

Big Business Goals? Which KPIs Will Help You
Big Business Goals? Which KPIs Will Help You

The most successful MSPs rely on metrics – known as key performance indicators (KPIs) – for making informed decisions that help their businesses thrive, rather than just survive. This eBook provides an overview of the most important KPIs used by top MSPs.

 1) I want to take it a step further and hide the relative dates (Start and End date Parameters).
OR
2) Can I populate the start and end date parameters based on my selection?

For example:
Past Month would display 6/1/18 in the start date and 6/30/18 in the end date.

YTD would display 1/1/18 in the start date and 7/12/18 in the end date, etc

If that is not possible then I just want to be able to hide the start and end date parameters unless I choose CUSTOM.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is the case statement for the drop-down Date Filter:

CASE [Select Range]

WHEN "Most Recent Date" THEN

    //Sunday

    IIF (DATEPART('weekday',TODAY()) = 1,(IF DATEADD('day',-3,TODAY()) = [Date] THEN "Keep" Else "Drop" END),

    //Monday

    IIF (DATEPART('weekday',TODAY()) = 2,(IF DATEADD('day',-4,TODAY()) = [Date] THEN "Keep" Else "Drop" END),

    //All other days

    IIF (DATEADD('day',-2,TODAY()) = [Date],"Keep","Drop")))

WHEN "Past Week" THEN

    IF DATEPART('weekday',TODAY()) = 2 THEN

    (IF (DATEPART('week',[Date]) = DATEPART('week',TODAY())-1 OR (DATEPART('week',TODAY()) <= 1 AND DATEPART('week',[Date]) = 1)) AND DATEPART('weekday',[Date]) < 6 AND DATEPART('weekday',[Date]) > 1 AND [Date] > DATEADD('day',-365,TODAY()) THEN "Keep" END)

    ELSE

    IF …

I'm trying to create a custom Google Analytics custom report that shows the following by date range: Organic Search, Direct Traffic, Referral, Social, Email, PPC and also somewhere in the report show the PPC spend.

Let me know if this is possible and how to do it.  I've not used custom reports much.

Hi,  would like to seek all your expertise to recommend a free open source tools that can become clustering on Survey data,   the enterprise tools like SPSS, SAS etc are overkill as our data are less than 1-2K, and what we need to do is chunk all the verbatim questions, comments or forum threads into topics,  sub-categories, categories

I had tried Lexalytics in the past still not what we want for end users (general casual user),    as most of the time we will be inputting our own lexicon and feed to this tools,  so the default taxonomy, lexicon library may not be accurate after the 1st run

best that this tool is on premises (without internet connection)

Thank you all

Hello All,

Hope someone clarify the error I have in my STIDF data plot.
I'm reading through related questions but no solution fixed my error.

I'm working on STIDF  and I want to use stplot and spplot but it seems spplot is not suitable for STIDF.

When I use stplot I always get this error:

    Error in `levels<-`(`*tmp*`, value = if (nl == nL) as.character(labels) else paste0(labels,  :
      factor level [2] is duplicated

Here's how my data in STIDR data type looks:

           Lat         Long       sp.ID       time                                 endTime              TimeIndex     Speed    Station_ID
    41.71268  -87.64341    1      2017-07-01 00:00:00   2017-07-01 18:00:00       1                    86           2
    41.47268  -87.35281    2      2017-07-01 00:00:00   2017-07-01 18:00:00       1                    35           5
    41.71268  -87.64341    3      2017-07-01 01:00:00   2017-07-01 18:01:00       2                    43           2
    41.47268  -87.35281    4      2017-07-01 01:00:00   2017-07-01 18:01:00       2                    55           5

I think it's related to my ID variable but I have duplicated station ID because I have hourly reading for each location , so ID will be repeated in my dataset.

I tried this code but I still have the error message,

 STIDF_jour$Station_ID <- factor(STIDF_jour $Station_ID, levels = rev(unique(STIDF_jour $Station_ID)), ordered=TRUE)

Hi

I have below scenario and need help to address this issues. What would be your approach to solve this problem in bullet points or brief summary like  what is your assumptions,explain your analysis approach and chosen analytics techniques, expected output results, what recommendations do you suggest,do you see limitations

1. How would you assess the impact of weather on consumer spend last winter?

2. How would you determine if a specific block in your neighborhood is suitable for a new grocery store?

3. Bank XYZ has created a new credit card product, how would you determine the targeting strategy?

4. Bank XYZ  has observed declining credit card sales volumes in their core markets. How would diagnose the cause and what potential remediation’s may be put in place (if any)

5.  Credit Card company recently announced a new partnership with a key tech company. How would you quantify the per customer incremental value of this partnership?

Thanks

How do I troubleshoot a website to determine why I have pages causing Error 739 instances. This began on Dec. 1, and I was just notified by Google Analytics, saying there is something in some of my pages cannot be indexed for some reason. No instructions are included as to how to fix it.

Normally I've seen MOS scores on a 1 to 5 point scale. But in Skype for Business Call Analytics they're expressed a decimal. e.g.

Average network degradation 0.009717 MOS

What are they saying? Is that a 4.93 MOS score?

I work for a organization with a large website. I have been asked to provide the following stats from 2016 about the website:

  • total number of web pages on our website
  • total number of page linked to a newsletter

Regarding bullet number two: A friend suggested that I use Campaigns to track pages being linked to newsletters, which I assume would mean creating a different campaign for every newsletter link. I can do that going forward in 2018, but that doesn't help me find the stats for 2016.

Can I retrieve the 2016 stats for both bullets from GA and how would I do so? If it can not be retrieved from GA, please offer suggestions on how I may find this information.

I would like to have better analytics of call quality over time. Is there any way to have a server at each site and run a nailed up simulated call between the two and gather metrics like loss, jitter, MOS, latency etc etc? Anything from MS? Other?

Hi,

I have built a small wordpress widget that floats in the bottom right hand corner of my client's website(s), so that their users can click it to make a payment to them... which simply redirects the user to my payment platform / website where my customer has an account.

FLOW - widget sits on clientwebsite.com and when they click it, the customer is brought to mysplink.com/abc (their payment profile on splink)

QUESTION
I need to be able to track how many users land on mysplink.com from a widget that sits on another site.

I was thinking of using something like mysplink.com/abc/ref=widget-abc and then i can view that in Google Analytics?

01 - would this approach be the best way to do this?

02 - any other advice on approaches would be greatly appreciated

Thank you in advance for your help.
