Our apps team uses Google Analytics to track one of our website for pattern of
usage/access & they requested for access to gmail to receive product tips, advice,
recommendations, training tips   in gmail.

Q1:
As gmail is a data loss/leakage risk (as users can upload data to it), can Google
Analytics be configured to send emails/tips/recommendations instead to our
corporate Exchange email account instead?

I have no idea/inkling of how Google Analytics work.


Q2:
Is there any option in gmail to set auto-forwarding ie whenever new emails
arrive in gmail account, it's auto-forwarded to our corporate email?  Any
tool to do this?

I'm working on an ad campaign management app. There's a feature there advertisers can assign caps for campaign based on spending or conversions in daily, monthly or lifetime basis and there would be multiple caps per ad campaign. As soon as one campaign reaches the 80% we will send notification to all publishes and once caps are reached we have to stop the campaign immediately. We're receiving thousands of event per second. Currently what i'm doing is querying reporting table every second but it's quite inefficient and sometimes campaigns already exceeded the caps when I detect it. So my question is;

What're the existing efficient programmatic or architectural solution's in industry to handle these kind of situations?

We have some landing pages on our website.  We have some advertising companies we work with and one of them has an unusually high
 click rate back to our landing page.  The rate is much higher than other advertising companies.  We use Google Analytics to review.  

 Is it possible to tell it any of these hits are generated from bots?  or automated clicks?  Is there a good method to validate the clicks?

i am using saiku analytics , when i connect apache drill by normal jdbc connection then it works perfactly.But when create data source in saiku then it will connect through mondrian olap , this not works giving error.

Can anyone describe their experience with embedding powerBI visualzations into a website?  I want to have client specific visualizations that show up when they log into the website.  (Probably using HTML5)  Thoughts?  What concerns me most was the description from the powerBI website about publishing to the cloud.  It is imperative that only the client can see their graphs...

Hi,
I need to analyse database and know how many records by fields and percentage of it or percentage of records vs blank.
Important thinhs, this db has one table with 250 fields.

I started with PowerPivot, I then jumped on PowerBi and I just heard that tableau was easier and more accessible for business at the end.
Im a bit lost. What would you reckon ?

I am using IP camera and getting images based on the alarm.  I have a question on this,

Can we mark assets area and do the image analytics with the reference image and find missing assets.


This is only to deduct missing asset (like missing ups, intercom, notebook)

-  We can keep a master image consider as a template with all the assets
-  Whenever changes happen like replacing, missing marked items - need to mark the missing items in red color and need to alert the administrator.

I have one worksheet that shows total quantity of sales.
Then I have another worksheet that shows total quantity of sales and is filtered based on the filter franchise.
 
On my dashboard I have both.
On the filtered worksheet I have total quantity of sales for the filter franchise.
 
Worksheet 1 Name: ES - TOP LEVEL KPIs
Worksheet 2 Name: ES - FRANCHISE BUBBLE
 
My calculated field on both worksheets is SUM(Sell out Quantity).
 
Ultimately I want to total:
SUM(Sell out Quantity) from ES - FRANCHISE BUBBLE /Total SUM(Sell out Quantity) ES - TOP LEVEL KPIs = % of Total Quantity
117,193  / 1,579,040  = 7%
 
I want to add a % of total in my tool tip.  
Due to the filter I am unable to get an accurate calculation.  

Is there an easy way to do this?

OBIEE on Windows server.

Step1: Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)
Step2: When creating a 'System DSN', we are not seeing any 'Oracle BI Server' driver, which otherwise should appear with OBIEE client installation.

Please advice.

Good Day and thank you all in advance for your time!

Our database is fleshed out working great! and while my team and I would love to bask in that a bit longer, now we are  being asked to actually show them some meaningful data in a clear and "cool" way....

We just want to try out some solutions and are being told by some we have to pay up front...just to try.

Does anyone know of a solutions that allows for drill down? For example, the visualization starts as a map. clicking on a city in the map reveals a  map of only the locations in that area, clicking on one location reveals the metrics relevant to that location and so forth.

If you could help narrow down our list possible solutions by who might offer this feature, it would be VERY helpfull.

I have this site set up in The Google Search console, but having problems with profile showing up in Yoast in the WordPress admin.

I think one of the reasons is because of the way I have the site set up on my server!
I have a root folder with the domain name and an old html website in there. I created a newer WordPress site and put that in a folder in the root. In the WP site I have this in the .htaccess file:

This is so I can redirect that folder to the root and serve up the site as main site and not subdomain. Could this be throwing things off? Even at Google search Console? Do I need to have the exact url: http://intrepidrealist.com/intrepidrealist?

Google allows for the creation of groups, in which I am able to send a group of people the same email, simply by typing in the name of the group in the To, CC, or BCC box.  I am working on a database in which I have the list of names I've already entered into my contact list, and I am building my own groups there.  Groups, from a database parlance, is a many-to-many relationship, where existing names are linked to an existing group name.  Once I have built the contact/group links in my database, I would like to use the import feature to create the new group, but without re-entering the data associated with each name.  

I did this before, and, after much experimentation and re-importing, I ended up with 7 or so duplicates of the same name, having imported it time and time again.  While Google gives me the option of cleaning up duplicates as an afterthought, it would be nice if I could define the group cleanly, to specify the many-to-many relationship, without recreating the one-side of the contact list.  Does the import feature make this possible?

I have a project in Google Analytics (GA) where I have to come up with ALL transactions in our product.  I am a newbie in GA so here are my questions-
1. I have logged into GA and did some research on how to come up with ALL transactions. Do I have to create a Dashboard for it or this is something GA has out of the box?  I have crated a Dashboard with Widgets Page views and Pages but again it only shows me top 10.  How do I increase that count?
2. I saw that User Flow shows first top 10 transactions but I am interested in both- the most and the least transaction= All transactions.  How do I get GA to show all the transactions in User Flow?

I have a small business doing computer tech support and helping small businesses with websites and SEO. I One thing that has confused me that no one has been able to answer is when you create a new website and add it as a property in Google Search Console you get an email suggesting things you should do.

The first suggestions says “Make sure you add both "www" and "non-www" versions for your site. Also, if you use the HTTPS protocol, add those variations as well”  Does that mean I have to create two properties for each website an www and a non www? If so then I have to manage the settings in both properties.

I have a subsite that the owner would like to look at web analytics occasionally.  For some reason on this particular subsite when the owner goes to webanalytics he gets this message.

There is no data available for this report. Here are some possible reasons: (1) Web Analytics has not been enabled long enough to generate data; (2) There is insufficient data to generate this report; (3) Data logging required for this report might not be enabled; (4) Data aggregation might not be enabled at the level required for this report.

This message appears only on one subsite the other sites are showing data

I have checked that the web analytic service is running and the timer jobs all succeeded
