Last Sun night, my car couldn't start (despite turning the key many times)  & appears to be rather warm in passenger area: see the 2nd attachment on how the meter/dashboard of the car looked like at that time.

Towed to workshop next day who said 2 motors (that circulate coolant or air??) needed to be replaced so they're replaced but next day, it gets heated up & when I checked the coolant, it's empty.  So I top up with water (instead of coolant) to the full & checked if there's leakage but no leakage is visible.

Next day, found that there's no water  anymore so I top up with almost 2L of water & drop to the workshop:
the mechanic pointed out to me (refer to 1st attachment, yellow-highlighted area) that boiling water is seeping out: he said that the engine is malfunction, generating too much heat thus the boiling water expand & seep out through the yellow-highlighted area.

He said need to overhaul the engine or change another engine & he can't think of any other options.
Anyone has any other opinions or how I could fix this without incurring huge expenses.

In the meantime, he suggested I could top up with water every 30-40 mins but it's going to be too hot
& dangerous to open the cap (see 1st photo, bottom right corner) : will it be Ok if I leave the cap open
so that I can stop the car every 30mins by the roadside to top up water to cool the engine?

My car is Honda Airwave 2009 model

The above now ships free to my country: I recall years back an expert told me Honda Fit's engine is actually the same as
Honda Airwave's, just that Airwave uses a different body.  Was told by the expert there's a way to check in Amazon which
model of cars the spark plug is meant for but I can't find it in the above link.  Anyone can guide me?

I am just curious why this machine is that cheap. Someone is asking 9 grant for this motor home. I am not a mechanic but just want to know why its that low. Runs and drive great.  What I suppose to check in this kind of machine. I can afford to pay that kind of money but scared what happen if transmission will die out. I don't know how much it cost to fix that thing. Its a huge big monster is.

Last few days, the car will suddenly slow down (sort of dragging) & then accelerate again & today, the
D (ie Drive) light blinks & engine almost stalled.  I power off & power on (reignite) & resume.

What could be wrong?   The spark plugs still good & servicing done 2 months back: tho not required,
2 months back, did engine flush

The turn signals work when the bright lights are on and pull back on the switch. On one occasion the brights were turned on and the radio went off.

My TA has 54k miles and I wanted to know if I can run or should I run synthetic oil.  I have read different opinions but, I'm not sure if it would make a difference either way

Below you may see the lid and strings with plastic clips from Mazda 6 hatchback cargo cover.
What is the proper name for those strings with clips? Or part number to be identified properly?
Where can I find to buy those plastic clips?
Would be possible to point to a German shop (online or not)?

Car owner only drives the 90 Honda Accord about 1-2 times a week.
In the last few months AAA has come out about an unknown inability of the battery to start the car, a relative suggested a mechanic at a small shop and it was towed there, and I took the car to Advanced Auto parts for a 100% free analysis of battery, starter, alternator. Their equipment spit out a report saying:
battery: good needs charging
CCA: 385 (this car should take at least 550-575-600)

So I am ignored when I suggest that the battery needs to go to AAP for a free overnight charge to get the battery to as close to 100% healthy as possible. This battery is less than a year old if you believe AAA. I do not trust service persons of any kind due to constant ripoffs. The last people I'd listen to is AAA. I want to take the battery to be charged over night for free since they do not charge and "then" begin to monitor this unknown fan related drain on the battery.

No telling how "used" the battery was before AAA put new stickers on it.

I have been called to the car owner's house 3 times to jump start the battery, it starts and holds a charge until at least the next day.
This car owner thinks they can let the car run in the driveway 15-20 minutes and that is the same as driving it around town at higher speeds. Don't higher rpm's increase the ability of the alternator to charge the battery?

A friend of the car owner, AAA, and the car owner keep going back to some fan that stays on after the engine …

Own a 2005 Buick LaSabre and it overheats.  Cooling temp reaches 240 degrees.  Took it into a shop and they looked at the radiator and it was full of what they said was gunk and rust.  Installed a new radiator and flushed the system.  Worked OK for 2 weeks (lowered the temp a bit) but now it is doing the same thing.  Heater does not work which they said at the shop it was not working very well.  They told me to come back a few months later and have it flushed again.  Also, one day I was at a stop light and had the air on and the cart started to rumble and the temp light came on, my gas pedal did not have any punch to it at that time.  Pulled over  and let it cool down and everything was OK.  Do you have any ideas of what to try to get this fixed?  Is it a simple flush again?  I also added a bottle of water wetter and that did not help.

I was trying to figure out why my 1986 F150 wasn't holding charge and found out it was the battery. I had pulled the alternator and battery off to have them tested. While reinstalling the alternator I touched a hot wire to the frame and now it won't crank. When I turn the key I no longer hear the file pump or anything under the hood turn on. It will turn over but not fire. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought this vehicle a month ago. Before that I have 2015 RAM 1500 Pickup truck and this truck gave me a very good average miles on highway. The new GMC burn gas like a hell I feel that it might given me under 10 miles a gallon. Do I need to take it back to the dealer?

Client has just traded in their BMW.  Their iPhone was paired with the car by Bluetooth.

How do we make sure that all the private data, contact information, navigation history, is securely removed from the car?

Thanks.

I'm programming Infineon TC29x Aurix Tricore Microcontroller based embedded system in 'C' language.

Consider stack starting at address 0x5000 0000.  The stack size is 0x1000.

If I add 0x1000 to current stack pointer(Register A10) and store result in A10, then I should get underflow error.

What might be the code in assembly to change stack pointer?  something like following:

stw a10, 0x1000(a10)   # I'm not sure if stw is correct opcode ?

what are other options to create stack undeflow exception?

Btw petrol = gasoline (UK / US terms).

Occasionally I drive past petrol kiosks (that have offer) for
Octane 100 & I thought of topping them to the max (as my
wife doesn't want me to keep petrol at home & there's a
legal requirement to register for using container to buy
them as petrol could be used for malicious purpose).

So if my petrol is half tank & I fill up a nearby kiosks with
Octane 92 petrol (the kiosks also have Octane 95 & 98),

Q1:
Does the 2 grades of petrol mix well or they form 2 separate
layers in my car's petrol tank?  If they don't mix, which one
will float to the top

Q2:
if they mix well, do we then get an average of Octane 96?

Q3:
Any degradation / adverse effects of mixing the 2 petrols?

Hi: I just bought a 2017 GMC Sierra 2500. Its a very basic truck and their is no bed liner on it. My questions is where can I find that thing or something like that cheap in under 100 bucks?

Every once in a while I can smell my brakes on the front left burning and you can feel that it is warmer in the wheel well compared to the right side. It doesn't happen all of time though. I took the whheel and caliper off but, the brakes look fine and the rotor is still smooth. I am wondering if the piston on the caliper is freezing up sporactically. I took it to the dealer but, the tech said that he isn't finding a problem and of course the problem doesn't occur when I take it in so, I can't prove that it is happening.
Could it still be the caliper or is there some other reason why I can smell the brakes burning and feel the higher temerature in the wheel well?
