Free Tool: ZipGrep

ZipGrep is a utility that can list and search zip (.war, .ear, .jar, etc) archives for text patterns, without the need to extract the archive's contents.

One of a set of tools we're offering as a way to say thank you for being a part of the community.

Say, I am not sure of the model number but this is an entry level, probably the cheapest, Voda phone cell phone on the market. I am trying to ascertain what the specs of the external memory chip that we would require, are. Also, how long have these been available ?
I am trying to ascertain if I have 1 used in an older device and in particular, the Blackberry model. Roughly, how many years ago were they in the Blackberry model?

Say, No support seems to be provided by BB OS 10 to xfer notes and tasks to a PC. Companion Link offers some solution but requires a lot of manual xfer of them on the BB itself.
I have the BB Classic (Q20) and wish to upgrade the phone but no way to get this data off and have over 300 records.

See http://forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-classic-f419/bb-classic-notes-tasks-sync-outlook-1037990/
Can you confirm my ascertion or provide a better solution.

Say, Kindly suggest replacement cell phones for the BB Bold Classic (9900). Mine is in need of replacing.
A phone with a physical keyboard is a big plus but not essential.

Hi Experts,

We have BES 5 and 12 and have BB handheld devices configured to access user's corporate mails in Exchange 2010.

Users are complaining that Auto generated mails from Salesforce are not visible (content Not visible) on BB hendhelds. those mails are visible in outlook like normal emails.

The issue is with all mails from salesforce.

as part of troubleshot, i have found http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?ArticleNumber=000024048 and http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?ArticleNumber=000003265 but i think these are not solution for me as the mails are delivered as normal mails instead of attachments.

if anybody has encountered such issue and resolved please provide the details so that we can try that too.

Regards,
Aanand

Blackberry has opened up BBM to developers via SDK

http://www.cbronline.com/news/cloud/blackberry-enters-cloud-comms-market-secure-bbm-enterpise-messaging-service/

Does anyone know if both parties involved in such a conversation need to have BBM/App using SDK?

That is, let's say I develop an app called Company Phone using this SDK. I then want to talk to my mother who uses her normal voice line. Is this possible?

Say, I'm using blackberry Classic Q20 and trying to cope with its low battery life. Kindly recommend a good quality portable battery pack for it.  One or two brands and particular model numbers would be appreciated. If possible, a make and product that is available in South Africa. Thanks

Following on from the news that Blackberry Hub has been released on Android:

http://n4bb.com/blackberry-hub-android-marshmallow/

Increasingly, we are seeing more and more users utilize different messaging platforms to communicate with their clients and colleagues. 10 years ago, it was only email, now we have WhatsApp, LinkedIn Messenger, HipChat, and so on.

This poses an inconvenience factor since they need to have multiple clients running on their mobile and there is also no unified desktop experience.

With BlackBerry Hub, we had that. I work for a regulated industry, so we needed these clients to hook into various archiving/ surveillance systems.

How does Blackberry Hub work exactly? Is there an SDK we could modify for our own use (via purchase of course)?

Existing:
Open “Blackberry server Configuration” utility, go to “Administration Service – High Availability” tab

Actual/Expected:
Open “Blackberry server Configuration” utility, go to “Administration Service - Cacerts Keystore” tab

It is resolved my issue on invalid password.

but i need to import domain name CA signed cert to web.keystore or cacert.

Weird issue here, only the besadmin user account can access the Blackberry Administration Service website.
Any other user simply sees Page cannot be displayed.

What could be causing this?
