I need to extract text messages from a year-old BlackBerry Z30 .bbb backup file.  I've tried various tools such as BlackBerry-Extractor, but they don't seem to work.  The one that comes closest is a tool called WonderShare MobileTrans.  It immediately asked me for the password to the blackberry file/account, so that seemed like a good sign.  After churning away for half an hour, it gave me stats on what it found (this is just the demo version).  Under Text Messages, it said "0".

Are text messages not saved in a normal BlackBerry backup created via BlackBerry Link?  Does anyone know about SMS retrieval from a .bbb file?  I'm surprised the program said there were none there.

Thanks.
Dave

Hi,

I have recently purchased UNIS AC7000 access control for my office and gave connection to the switch.
I have added finger print and all in the controller.

I have installed the software in the PC as a server I followed the steps mentioned in the user manual, but I not able to connect the controller to my PC which acts as Server.

Authentication server:
ip address:192.168.1.225 (my pc )
port: 9780

Unis service manager :
IP: 192.168.1.225
Port:9784

Database server:192.168.1.225
Port:9872

in the windows firewall
inbound port: 9870,9871,9874
outbound port: 9872

how can solve this problem

Say, No support seems to be provided by BB OS 10 to xfer notes and tasks to a PC. Companion Link offers some solution but requires a lot of manual xfer of them on the BB itself.
I have the BB Classic (Q20) and wish to upgrade the phone but no way to get this data off and have over 300 records.

See http://forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-classic-f419/bb-classic-notes-tasks-sync-outlook-1037990/
Can you confirm my ascertion or provide a better solution.

Blackberry has opened up BBM to developers via SDK

http://www.cbronline.com/news/cloud/blackberry-enters-cloud-comms-market-secure-bbm-enterpise-messaging-service/

Does anyone know if both parties involved in such a conversation need to have BBM/App using SDK?

That is, let's say I develop an app called Company Phone using this SDK. I then want to talk to my mother who uses her normal voice line. Is this possible?

Following on from the news that Blackberry Hub has been released on Android:

http://n4bb.com/blackberry-hub-android-marshmallow/

Increasingly, we are seeing more and more users utilize different messaging platforms to communicate with their clients and colleagues. 10 years ago, it was only email, now we have WhatsApp, LinkedIn Messenger, HipChat, and so on.

This poses an inconvenience factor since they need to have multiple clients running on their mobile and there is also no unified desktop experience.

With BlackBerry Hub, we had that. I work for a regulated industry, so we needed these clients to hook into various archiving/ surveillance systems.

How does Blackberry Hub work exactly? Is there an SDK we could modify for our own use (via purchase of course)?

I had this question after viewing BlackBerry Administration page displaying "Cannot Display the Webpage".

In the shared article you need to change a line:

Existing:
Open “Blackberry server Configuration” utility, go to “Administration Service – High Availability” tab

Actual/Expected:
Open “Blackberry server Configuration” utility, go to “Administration Service - Cacerts Keystore” tab

It is resolved my issue on invalid password.

but i need to import domain name CA signed cert to web.keystore or cacert.
Please add some more help in this regard.

Krishna

Weird issue here, only the besadmin user account can access the Blackberry Administration Service website.
Any other user simply sees Page cannot be displayed.

What could be causing this?
