Business Communication

Business Communication is the act of information sharing, whether within an organization or outside of it. Internal Business Communication refers to information sharing, updates on policies and procedures, and team building exercises submitted through emails, memos, and the like. External Business Communication is released to benefit the commercial interests of a company, such as marketing, advertising, or press release communications. This line of work requires a strong understanding of the primary language used in the business’ target demographic, the ability to effectively convey ideas and information through written means, and the skills to effectively inform internal and external audiences on mission, values, changes, and plans.

We have a site with 600 users, using Office 365 for office apps, but we have a Windows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory which syncs to O365 using a cloud connector sync. We publish all AD changes to the 2008 Servers and this is then synced to O365.

We also have a stand-alone UC app called Fuze which has a setting where we give the O365 account details to Fuze and it tries to pull office 365 global contacts into the search function.

The search should allow a UC user to search office 365 for a first or last name and find a primary phone number.

It doesn’t work. We are told Fuze only supports the Office365 people API and something is causing all our contacts to use the user API.

Does anyone know why the User API is being used for global contacts?
