I was recently appointed as IT Manager at one of the companies.
This company is using microsoft CRM.
The former Director of Information Technology used traditional VPN technology from Internet service providers to connect all the company's branches around the country. Which cost the company a lot of money per month.
While this VPN is only used to run that program in these branches.
What I think if I can develop or modify this system to use cloud technology or any thing else To reduce costs and also to develop the company

Trying to find a way to have a public contact database that will sync to mobile phones, (Apple and Android). In the best case, we would keep something local here at the office or in the cloud that we would be able to assign permissions to a couple users to be able to change them while everyone else just has read access. The big catch is I want the users in the field with iPhones and Droids to be able to see this contact list easily but is sperate from they normal local contacts or their exchange contacts. I found something like CiraSync that will let us use public folder contacts and push to the phone but i have never used it before and was wondering how anyone else is doing this.

We have to send sms to international customers, the content will have the rating on product OR the service for example 1 for excellent and 10 for poor.
2. The feedback from the customer to be replied to be for the same SMS number which being used to deliver it to them (please note: we will not provide the separate number for the reply instead the feedback to be for the same SMS no which it delivered).
3. Feedback/reply sms from the customer should not be charged to them.
4.  We would like to have detailed reports and the journey of each customer with respect to the feedback /trend analysis for example month 1 poor is his/her feedback and later after few months based on services 5 later the feedback is excellent, we would like to measure this.
We are located in india, please let us know if above is possible and refer few good sms such service providers please, thanks in advance.

We are looking to delete old external contacts from our Exchange 2013 on-prem environment. I would like to see when the last time an email was sent to the external SMTP address (a contact stored in exchange). I have been trying to use the Get-MessageTrackingLog & and the Get-Contact, but nothing returns. How can I go about this in PowerShell?

CRM2011 - Problem with Option Set values not showing in the DB.

Basically, i insert a record to optionset and on crm 2011 - i see everything but when i query database. I do not see new record.

I am looking to sync the GAL for an on-prem Exchange 2010 environment with the contacts list for every users' exchange mailbox.

We need all of the contacts in the GAL to be able to sync to mobile devices so that mobile users have access to phone numbers that are kept up to date in active directory. This will also remove the issues we are seeing where users do not know how to utilize the GAL and are keeping spreadsheets of everyone's phone number.

I have located a couple of paid services that will accomplish this, most notably CircaSync, but we are trying to avoid the use of third party tools. I also know we can get a little creative with an automated powershell script, but I am trying to avoid a jerry-rigged setup that is likely to become an issue to support down the road if it ever stops working once we are already reliant on it.

Who has accomplished this?

I'm trying to list the relevant  regulations/acts that are applicable to

a) a CRM (Customer Relationship Mgmt) system : guess PDPA (Personal
    Data Protection Act) is applicable;  if it contains a US customer's data,
    guess GDPR is applicable.   What else?

b) for a procurement system,  Goods & Services Tax Act  is applicable.
    What else?

c) for a HR/Payroll,  "Computer Misuse Act" & what else?  Guess PDPA
    is not applicable for Payroll but applicable to HR (as Date of Birth
    & NRIC# is there)

I would like to know the SUREST method to backup all my contacts on my phone to my PC . I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I have the Google back up checked however the last time I formatted my phone I lost quite a few contacts for some reason. Luckily I was able to find the missing ones from Google Text messages app and DRUPE{ it's a third party app which cost me $12.00 ?} it had saved my contacts. I am a bit paranoid. I want to reformat my phone again but I do not want to risk losing any contacts information. The more back up the better. So if some one can give a couple of options to back up hopefully everything on my phone specifically the CONTACTS that would be great.

My friend's work has 20 sales reps using Salesforce.com, each processing 250 signed contracts per year, for a total of 5,000 contracts

When he asked DocuSign how much the above electronic signature cost would be DocuSign said it would cost about $3 per contract, for a total of $15k/year

What other "Salesforce.com electronic signature" options do you recommend for the above volume that would cost a lot less since the only thing he wants is eSignatures, no other features ?

I am running Outlook 16.15 for MAC and I need to export my contacts to a CSV file for a CRM tool. The issue is MAC exports contacts to OLM. Does anyone know how to export contacts to CSV on a MAC or a tool to convert OLM to CSV?

In Dynamics CRM 365 On Premises, running on Server 2016 with an SQL 2016 backend.

We use Autotask for our primary client database, but I have a utility that exports all contacts for importing into CRM. These contacts will often be changing, updating, etc - sometimes improper information gets automatically attributed to a contact object due to our email-to-ticket system.

I would like to be able to import an updated contact set into CRM periodically, and have the information in the updated contact list update the existing contacts in CRM rather than the existing duplicate detection settings where it merely discards the new contact information when a duplicate is detected. I also don't want to disable duplicate detection and manually merge the contacts, we have thousands.

The end goal is to be able to bulk update any changes to our contacts but be able to keep any existing marketing metadata for that contact object. If I simply delete all my contacts and reimport, I lose all that metadata - including unsubscribe, etc. We are only using CRM for email marketing.

In other words, if $existingcontact.emailaddress = $newcontact.emailaddress, merge the contacts using the fields from $newcontact. If $newcontact.emailaddress does not exist, create a new contact object as normal.

Is there a built in mechanism that I am not seeing to accomplish this, or is there a third party tool that will help me accomplish this in some way?

I need help figuring out how to quickly share a contact with a colleague. I get an e mail request for contact information. I would like to quickly insert the requested information into the reply and send it off. Instead, I have to do a search of google contacts, export the contact to a vcf file. download it to my desktop. Then attach it to the email as a separate file. then I can send it. What I really want to be able to do is to access my contacts list quickly copy the contact info to the clipboard and paste it into my reply email. Is there a way to do this?

My client lost email history and notes within his  Goldmine Premium Edition version 2017.1.0.422. I have image backups running. If I grab an earlier copy of the data base, he will lose data he has entered for the last 7 to 10 days (since he noticed the issue). Is it possible to just restore the missing email history/notes without having to resort to an older GB DB copy?

we are in a hybrid O365 and on premise exchange exchange (2016). And i am seeing that all external contacts that we add end up with additional "other email addresses" besides the correct (external primary address). The other addresses end with our domain.

Ex. Josmith@abccompany.com will be shown as the primary email - external contact

in the email options however I will see something like this, josmith@mycompany.com and abccompany@mycompany.mail.onmicrosoft.com

The problem now is that if i need to add an internal user that's named josmith@mycompany.com it does not work. It will tell me that josmith@mycompany is already in use.

how do I fix this problem? I can't delete the external contact.

What is the Best Practice re IIS & RDS services?

We have 2 VMs on a HyperV: DC + RDS (both WIndows 2016)
Our CRM, ACT! from Sage,  is currently installed on the RDS but is only used internally.
We need to install a IIS / Web Server to give remote access to ACT! via the web

Can I use the RDS to install these additional components? My instinct is to build a new VM and install ACT! on that VM.

I need a better way to manage my Google Contacts from my Android phone.

How to copy all contacts (with profile photo) from iCloud to Google?
I know I can download all contacts from iCloud by exporting a vCard file. However, it does not include the contact's profile photo.

I am considering a small mass emailing to promote my new book. But I do not have the technology yet to validate who has opened the email and who has not.

I once use MailGun and found that had a great technology for that kind of validation.

Does anyone have suggestions about what other things are important when validating the response rates from a mass mailing?

I need to track:
- conversion rate of a purchase, based upon the number who saw the email
- I need to know who saw the email so I could consider sending it a second time to those who did not see it the first time

What else?

What tools exist? Free is better.

I am considering Zoho because of its ability to trace whether the email was opened.
