Is there a free useful solution for a multi people thread... kind of like a forum that is closed for a certain group.

I want to be able to talk about multi subjects and that if someone new comes in he can easily browse through the subjects and see the comments.

I am running Outlook 16.15 for MAC and I need to export my contacts to a CSV file for a CRM tool. The issue is MAC exports contacts to OLM. Does anyone know how to export contacts to CSV on a MAC or a tool to convert OLM to CSV?

In Dynamics CRM 365 On Premises, running on Server 2016 with an SQL 2016 backend.

We use Autotask for our primary client database, but I have a utility that exports all contacts for importing into CRM. These contacts will often be changing, updating, etc - sometimes improper information gets automatically attributed to a contact object due to our email-to-ticket system.

I would like to be able to import an updated contact set into CRM periodically, and have the information in the updated contact list update the existing contacts in CRM rather than the existing duplicate detection settings where it merely discards the new contact information when a duplicate is detected. I also don't want to disable duplicate detection and manually merge the contacts, we have thousands.

The end goal is to be able to bulk update any changes to our contacts but be able to keep any existing marketing metadata for that contact object. If I simply delete all my contacts and reimport, I lose all that metadata - including unsubscribe, etc. We are only using CRM for email marketing.

In other words, if $existingcontact.emailaddress = $newcontact.emailaddress, merge the contacts using the fields from $newcontact. If $newcontact.emailaddress does not exist, create a new contact object as normal.

Is there a built in mechanism that I am not seeing to accomplish this, or is there a third party tool that will help me accomplish this in some way?

I need help figuring out how to quickly share a contact with a colleague. I get an e mail request for contact information. I would like to quickly insert the requested information into the reply and send it off. Instead, I have to do a search of google contacts, export the contact to a vcf file. download it to my desktop. Then attach it to the email as a separate file. then I can send it. What I really want to be able to do is to access my contacts list quickly copy the contact info to the clipboard and paste it into my reply email. Is there a way to do this?

My client lost email history and notes within his  Goldmine Premium Edition version 2017.1.0.422. I have image backups running. If I grab an earlier copy of the data base, he will lose data he has entered for the last 7 to 10 days (since he noticed the issue). Is it possible to just restore the missing email history/notes without having to resort to an older GB DB copy?

we are in a hybrid O365 and on premise exchange exchange (2016). And i am seeing that all external contacts that we add end up with additional "other email addresses" besides the correct (external primary address). The other addresses end with our domain.

Ex. Josmith@abccompany.com will be shown as the primary email - external contact

in the email options however I will see something like this, josmith@mycompany.com and abccompany@mycompany.mail.onmicrosoft.com

The problem now is that if i need to add an internal user that's named josmith@mycompany.com it does not work. It will tell me that josmith@mycompany is already in use.

how do I fix this problem? I can't delete the external contact.

What is the Best Practice re IIS & RDS services?

We have 2 VMs on a HyperV: DC + RDS (both WIndows 2016)
Our CRM, ACT! from Sage,  is currently installed on the RDS but is only used internally.
We need to install a IIS / Web Server to give remote access to ACT! via the web

Can I use the RDS to install these additional components? My instinct is to build a new VM and install ACT! on that VM.

Please provide me with instructions on how to use  Cirrus Insight to record Gmail email contact info.

I'm most interested in recording people's information that is found within their email signatures such as name, job title, company name, address, phone numbers, etc.

I know I can download all contacts from iCloud by exporting a vCard file. However, it does not include the contact's profile photo.

I am considering a small mass emailing to promote my new book. But I do not have the technology yet to validate who has opened the email and who has not.

I once use MailGun and found that had a great technology for that kind of validation.

Does anyone have suggestions about what other things are important when validating the response rates from a mass mailing?

I need to track:
- conversion rate of a purchase, based upon the number who saw the email
- I need to know who saw the email so I could consider sending it a second time to those who did not see it the first time

What else?

What tools exist? Free is better.

I am considering Zoho because of its ability to trace whether the email was opened.

Our firm has been using PhoneSlips for almost twenty (20) years. Unfortunately, we have outgrown the system and we are having constant data corruption issues and our IT guy is spending more than 8 hours a month trying to constantly repair data errors.

Our needs are straight-forward and concise:

Client Profile Management. Names, addresses, contact info, etc. Unless the database is very well designed, having the ability to customize fields would be a must.

Inter-Office Messaging. We prefer an environment where this feature is not a separate program.

Appointment Scheduler. We want scheduling built into the same program. I am amazed at the number of CRM programs that have inadequate or no scheduler.

Task/Project Scheduling would be a plus.

Cloud-based of course. Our people need to access this info from their laptops, IOS and Android-based phones.

Online training videos - No Seminars. Software so complicated that people have to attend fly to a seminar somewhere is not only poorly-designed/presented, but typically not well received. One thing I have learned as a managing partner, make a job difficult for employees and they will make life difficult for you.

Good phone support. Offices becoming so reliant on these programs that good and quick software support is a must.

Please be frank. If you know someone using a system that has allowed their office to become more efficient, I want to hear about it. If they are running a system they wished they had never …

I had some problems with Outlook and backups which resulted in multiple copies of various .pst files.
When I opened Outlook, a previously-existing folder in My Contacts was there.
But, when I clicked on it, it went away and has not returned.
So, I imagine that the data is in there somewhere.
How to get it back?

At the same time, the backups failed - so they are of limited help.

I have a feeling this is really easy for somone who knows code. Attached is the dialog box I am using. The end result is I want it to say:

Hello my first name is (Insert First name) and my last name is (insert last name)

First name is pulled with ${Contacts.First.Name} and Last name is pulled with ${Contacts.Last.Name}

Any idea what I put in the Formula Expression to make this work? It currently is working with the given formula. The result is just the first name.

Hello Everyone. I have a Samsung Captivate Glide i927 (AT&T). It runs stock ICS 4.0.4

My Google account isn't syncing properly. My contacts, calendar, Keep notes  are unable to sync. I keep getting an error that states that 'Sync is having problems.'  I also can't connect to the Google account from certain apps like WhatsApp & SwiftKey keyboard and as a result, I can neither back my chats to Google Drive nor download my customs words for the SwiftKey keyboard app. I can however use the Google Drive app normally. The Play Store also works properly.

I have done everything that I can think of (& read online).  They are:

1. Deleting the Google Play Services cache.

2. Emptied the phone's cache. I also formatted it & the Dalvik cache in CWM.

3. Removed my Google account from the phone. Restarted & added the Google account.

4. Reset the phone to factory settings.

5. Re-flashed the  official/stock 4.0.4 ROM by using Odin.

6. I have added a hash prefix to the localhost IP address in the hosts file in the 'etc' folder. I have also deleted it.

Syncing still doesn't work for those services. I am at my wit's end. Please can anyone suggest a solution?

Hi, i have a Ms BCM 2010 running on a Win 10 Pro station which is also a fule server with SQL2008 SP4,whereas when i try to connect to its sql database from another win 10 station i get a password mismatch error ( i know the password is correct and databse properly shared...) , event 16969 logged with "remote calls to the SAM database have been denied in the past 900 seconds throttling windows" on the "server's" event log when i try to add the bcm database to the client's outlook 2010.

What's even funnier is that when i access the database with the built in admin account on the client side i get access to the database no problem..

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I am trying to help a small non-profit choose and implement/integrate a CRM.  They have a custom application, written in MSAccess, that handles all their business.  The board-of-directors wants to move the donors into a more modern, perhaps more powerful, CRM.

They need to be able to track donations, do strategic queries, and support both email and snail mail activities.

In addition to my own search results, I wondered if any of you might have some recommendations.

We are running AD in a Win2012R2. We have an OU where we keep all  contacts. I have an excel sheet xlsx that contains the following columns: Department, Description, Display Name, Emails address, First Name, Job Tittle, Last Name, and Telephone Number.
This excel sheet contains updated information for some contacts, New contacts to be added, and current contact that information has not changed.  My question is:
what is the easy way to import this excel sheet into my AD that will updates contact info, create new contacts, and leave as it is some contact information that has not changed.
I have no issue deleting the OU contacts and simple add the new spread sheet.
Please advise what it easy. I appreciate any comments. In addition the list I have it is about 26,000 contacts. I do not want to kill my AD. Should I do it in part? (Please advise)

I purchased a Pixel phone and added my Gmail account.  The phone automatically synced my contacts.  I don't want the Gmail, Google contacts.  I want to transfer my iPhone contacts because that's an up to date version of my contacts I wish to have in my phone.  I have since deleted contacts in Gmail and disabled auto add of contacts. However, the contacts sync feature under settings of the Pixel failed to update accordingly even when turning off/on the sync feature.  The contacts contain a recent sync time but same old lousy contacts.  Can anyone fill me in on why the contacts auto populate crap contacts?  How do I prevent those contacts from populating?

"Just a query – I am unable to make up Group/Distribution lists on my email.  I have gotten my friend, Len, to email me his list from his Outlook to me – is there a way I can transfer/save this “Distribution” list straight onto my Outlook?  You know, save me manually doing it?"

We are getting a CRM and want all users to the contacts they want from their personal account to a global one so that all other users can see.

We need to make sure it does not remove the contact from the users out look and that list is accessible so all employees can add to it.

What do you all recommend and how do implement this.
