Content Management

Content management (CM) is a set of processes and technologies that supports the collection, managing, and publishing of information in any form or medium. When stored and accessed via computers, this information may be more specifically referred to as digital content, or simply as content. Digital content may take the form of text (such as electronic documents), multimedia files (such as audio or video files), or any other file type that follows a content lifecycle requiring management.

I have a particular tablespace (12.1.x) with multiple datafiles. All but one of the datafiles are allocated 30 Gb, and about 40% consumed. Overall, the size of the available space is about 35%. However, the database is throwing a threshold exceeded warning, showing less than 15% available. Fragmentation is fairly high, but extents appear to be in line. As I write this, the thought occurred to me to recheck the shell script that checks and throws the threshold warning. Apples to apples, etc.

I figure it's about time we enabled row movement and began defragmenting. I am pinging for further ideas about validating the threshold warning.  TIA.
I'm looking for an option to create a custom HTML element like below:
<content-entry content-type="news" as="entry"  id="1" >
        <h1> {{entry.title}}

Expected behavior:

custom element named "content-entry" should encapsulate the logic of calling my content api to fetch the "News" with an Id matching as "1". It should return new object and it should be accessible as "entry" so that it can be used for further operations e.g. printing title, description etc.

Ideas is to hide and encapsulate component specific implementation logic and make a re-usable component.

It would be greate if you anyone can help me or guide me with appropriate solution.

I'm running Joomla 3.8.7 When I make a category the default home page all the articles cut off like there was a "read more" character in the article with the exception that there is no "read more" button. I cannot figure out what I have done to cause this behavior. I've tested my process on another 3.8.7 site and things behave as expected so it's got to be something I'm doing on the current site. I'd be happy to use the new site except there is so much content to transfer. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. The site is
I created a content type whose parent is a document.  I then created a document library and in the advanced settings enabled content management of content types for the new document library.  I then went to the library settings wanting to add the new content type for the library and there is no add content type to allow me to use this new content type.

I am running in Office365.

We are creating a product page and this product has 2 configurable types, I will call them LONG and SHORT. We have implemented a double swatch extension that does a very good job of allowing using to configure a product with various options.

We are trying to figure out if we can have the image swatch sizes for LONG set to 100 x 20 and the swatch image sizes for SHORT be set to 20 x 20.

Is this possible in Magento 2 to have 2 swatches, but different sizes. I only see a single place to change swatch image size in the file: vendor/magento/module-swatches/etc/view.xml

Can i take it that each site in a multisite WP installation does not use its own separate db?
Normally speaking, i don't mess with the control panel or plugins when moving a site. I simply export the db and copy the files. But i suppose i can't do that for one site only in a multisite installation?
Hi all,

I've spent the last week googling about open source document management systems to try to work out which one to settle on for a documents business. Users of the system require documentation from clients and the other service providers … I've read a little of Alfresco, nuxeo and and logicaldoc and am trying to work out which one is best to base thing on so any advice  on this appreciated…  a lot of the information I've read on websites is at least a few years old

Ideally I want a good quality open source software I can then develop to my needs. I'm a little wary the open source nature of Alfresco may go the way of SugarCRM given one article I read  but im not sure how much this should influence my decision.   … here is what I'm looking for …

I envisage an ideal system to be something along the lines of … main users could send documentation requests to clients via a browser link by email & text message … message would list documents required. From the browser, clients can upload documents to their custom repository by drag and drop or file selection from their computer. Client’s interaction with system would simply be web based. Documents are all converted to pdf within the process and stored in the system separately but can be presented back to the user as a single multipage pdf. The system should allow easy categorisation of  the documents …
I’ll try to make this short and succinct.  I have a Drupal 8 theme that I purchased (I won't name names) and all was good for the first month but then I noticed that whenever I made system changes to the site I would get errors like this (especially when I did a configuration Import):

Configuration block.block.footer depends on the ntv_block_background module that will not be installed after import.

This specific module does not exist, that I can find, but I believe that it is a module that the developer used during development and did not uninstall it correctly when he decided he did not want to use it anymore.  So the data that I acquired from the theme’s SQL was bad to begin with.  I have tried contacting the original author but I get no reply and have given up on that channel.

Digging Deeper: In the SQL database under the Config table is a data blob that contains references to this module in about 63 different data blobs.  a relevant section of the data looks like this:

My Question: There is too many references to remove by hand, Is there a utility (drush or other) to remove meta-data from a module that I no longer have access to and purge the unused data so that it does not …

I want to build my team to be SEO centric. We have a great opportunity to make money from sales of certain line of products that are not competitive. And I want to know the best way to go about it.

1. I want to hire research and content employees, who will take their time to develop the right content to best advise potential customers on best practices.

2. What else will I do right? that'll give hugely significant result within a 3-6 months time frame.

I will like to outsource the technical aspect to developers on elance, what should I be asking them to do: stuff like this: keeps bothering me.
Looking for a solution (cheap) to count inventory the fastest way possible.  Currently we have no scan guns or wifi in the warehouse.  We house at least 100,000 items.  What I would like is a scan gun that I can load an excel worksheet that has columns for our Item# (Barcode data), Description, Qty and fill ins for bin locations so pickers can scan what's there and it will save to the spreadsheet in the gun.  Added feature would be a fill in line for bin location so future picking would be easier for our pickers.

I can then download the spreadsheet and reconcile with our QB inventory.

Any advice Experts?

Starting with a context diagram, draw as many nested DFDs as you consider necessary
to represent all the details of the employee hiring system described in the following
narratives. You must draw at least a context and a level- 0 diagram. If you discover while
drawing these diagrams that the narrative is incomplete, make up reasonable explanations
to complete the story. Supply these extra explanations along with the diagrams in a
paragraph of assumptions that is 250 words or less.
