Need a ticket management system for a speaking tour

I need an easy to configure ticket sales service with some basic features:

- At first I will give tickets for free
- I want to switch to charging money per ticket, with the flip of a switch
- I'd like eventually offer the first X tickets for free, then charge a fee after that the free tickets have been taken

I need to support multiple speaking dates with multiple locations

I have no merchant credit card service and need a service which combines payment processing.

I need to accept many payment methods and not require a person to have a PayPal account in order to use a Visa card.

What are some choices?

I do have a WordPress site with a WooCommerce plug-in. But I suspect I would get up and running faster if a choose a full-service website for this.

Magento 2.1 - How can I remove the ability for a user to UNSELECT a swatch image?

I have all configurable products, I have created default simple product configurations for all configurable products. In the configurable product I have a double swatch configuration and if the user accidentally clicks twice on a swatch image, that option becomes UNSELECTED. I need to remove the ability for the user to UNSELECT any swatch, the configurable product must always have a swatch selected. The user can choose different configurations, and move about, but should never be allowed to select nothing.

I have configured default configurations on all configurable products and I want the swatches to behave like radio buttons in that the user always has 1 of each selected. We have a total of 2 possible swatches. FRAME color and LENS color; one of each must always be selected.
Hi.  I created a website using basic client payment logic from authorize.net over 10 years ago (2007?).

It has been working fine all this time..thankfully....until Authorize.Net disabled TLS 1.0/1.1 on 2/28/18.  Now authorize.net is not receiving any payments from the website.  I called authorize.net and confirmed they have seen nothing from this website since TLS 1.0/1.1 was disabled.  They cannot offer any specific help and I am trying to figure out the issue but am not sure where to start.

My client received a notice way in advance about this and sent it to me but I dropped the ball and didn't check into it in advance (I know that was a huge mistake).  We are working around the issue for now by billing clients via re-billing directly on authorize.net.  Fortunately, it is a small business and we can do the work-around for now.

I haven't done this type of work since I created this website long ago, and we did it the simple way using Authorize.net SIM, I think.  It is so basic!  I just pass 2 codes and all the pertinent data and it always worked.

We have a SQL Server backend SQL Server 2012 Express/Windows Server 2012, and the frontend is old ASP classic.  My client has a vendor maintain the server and it is in the cloud.  The server is kept up-to-date and has the latest security patches.  I don't do anything server related and, over the last 5 to 8 years, I have made very few changes to my software and no changes to the code we send to authorize.net.  Most …
Making PayPal the default payment for App Store

How do I do this on an iPhone 7?
Please provide me with a list of free credit monitoring services/websites such as Credit Karma.com that will alert me to different credit alerts and also provide offers from different banks and lenders.
Hi, my client is selling high-end storage devices, and would like a shopping cart to do this: Customer adds item to cart and goes to checkout, enters contact info, and then gets a statement like: Due to the nature of this transaction, we do not collect payment information at the time of the order. A representative will contact you within one business day to collect your payment information and discuss installation details.

An email is sent to my client, and they take it from there.

Are there any wordpress plugins that can do something like this? We're using woocommerce, but can change shopping carts if necessary. Thanks.
Does an old domain that points to a replacement domain and website hurt the search ratings?

I heard it does.

What is the best way to accomplish this?

Is there anyone know how could you get posted data from another website. I have a site that needs to get some pass through data that is returned by the notify_URL so when I read the engines documentation they send data by means of post so I need to listing and be able to get the variables as well as data passed from that url. How can I achieve that in php?
Wireless from my desktop pc to an Apple iPhone is other parts of the building. That is what we need.
A couple years ago we bought a simple Netgear (I think that was the brand) router. It plugged into the back of the cable modem with a yellow ethernet cable. There was then internet access to all rooms to laptops via wireless. The cost of that device was around $45.

Today we went to the same store and shown models and none were under $75 and none looked like what we had a mere two years ago. They ended up selling us an adapter that plugs into the iPhone and the other end plugs into a 25 foot ethernet cable from the cable modem. This cable is too short.

Is there no longer a simple low cost wireless router? The salesman acted like they had never heard of the type hookup we had before and / or it would never work now.
Amazon license plate help with integration.

We have an EDI system here that we have integrated with. Amazon sent an email to say that we need to integrate with Amazon License plate.

We though this was just the ASN for doing the shipments. We have contacted amazon but the keep sending us the amazon license plate document which is a manual process. The issue is we are a large company and we want to be able to automate. Has anyone had experience with this and is it possible to use web servicesthat Amazon supply? We have fount it difficult getting any information from amazon regarding this. We have requested calls but no luck.

Looking for someone that has been through this before?

BEst Regards,

Considering a Replacement MacBook

I may purchase a used MacBook Pro that I will use for Sales activities, and maybe some development.

I want the display to be goof for presentations and like the 1T disk of this machine:

I need to port over data from my 500GB MacBook SSD, so how exactly do I do that? I back up my disk to four different external hard disks, so I presume I need to just restore from a current backup to the new machine. Is that the best way?

I also need to run Windows, which I do with Parallels, and sometimes may do some Windows development with Visual Studio. I presume this hardware cold do this reasonably?

Aside form this, are there any reasons you can suggest me getting a better machine? Can I upgrade the RAM to 16GB, for example?

Currently, I survive with a 13" MacBook from Mid-2012 and 8GB RAM, but it seems slow and often pops up the multi-colored wagon wheel icon as the processor can not keep up wth the request.

I have a Law firm client that wants to start accepting bitcoin payments in Australia.  DOes anyone out there have experience in this, and can perhaps recommend a suitable payments vendor.
I am a software engineer and my personal Linked In page has hundreds of links, mostly to recruiters. They send me requests and I accept them sometimes.

But I have a couple of new topics where the power of Linked In may come in handy.

I have a business that has services which save merchants many thousands of dollars, and for which I intend to create a "sales funnel."

Can this be a distinct Linked-In page? How is it linked to my personal? The less, the better, I think.

Also, I have a book to launch, and hope to use whatever experience I gain on building a "sales funnel" for my business, would also apply for my launching my book.

It seems like I need two new Linked-In Pages. Or Profile?

How do they connect?

I have no problem with a large division, since I prefer that my book does not get in the way of business.

I was once told that ending a sale on Sunday at 6PM PST was best for maximum prices on auctions. That meant it was 9PM EST and Sunday, the most people were browsing Ebay.

Is this true?

I find myself holding back a sale until that time each week, so I can end at the time, but this slows me down.

I have a laptop to sell, and wanted to hit the sweet spot on that.

So, I wanted to ask.

Can someone point me to some documentation or a good plug-in that will allow me to customize the woocommerce order checkout and follow email process? A lot of our customers are retired and older and still want to print their orders and pay with a check so I need to add a print button at the end of the order process.  I also need a way to make the emails our customers get have the same look as I site, same branding (colors, graphics etc.). Surely there is an easy way to do--I have looked at https://woocommerce.com/products/conversio/ and it seems like it may work but I would think such a popular ecommerce platform would allow basic email branding -- it seems with woocommerce all "standard" ecommerce needs require another $69 to $129 a year plug-in. Thank you.
Hi, we're starting a new ecommerce store. On the new domain, I have the Comodo Positve SSL certificate.

We'll be selling some fairly high-priced items, and accepting credit cards. I know the cert I have is compatible with TLS 1.2, so no problems there. Is there any security reason I should go to another SSL certificate?

There's EV certificates, but they don't provide extra security, just the green bar. I'd prefer just to stay with the SSL certificate I have, if nobody thinks it's a problem. Thanks in advance.
Hi, I’m sure many of you are probably sick of answering this question, so apologies in advance.

I’ve been following (not trading) BitCoin for the last year. A few friends have invested in it, and i'd like to know more about it.

I'm interested investing in Ethereum in I have two questions:

01 - What is the best site to buy Ethereum from?

02 - How hard is it to get your money back out if you wanted to sell?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

I am wondering if digital products can be bought and resold.

           Thank you

When I first got about 3,500 followers on Twitter, I got responses when I sent out something of interest. Today, I may get one Like.

It's politically charged...but I send out dud after dud, and it seems like wasted time.

I still have just as many followers.

What could it be?

Could Twitter have blocked my account? And be sending to a tiny fraction of my follower base?
I am trying hard to find a way to automate some calculations on a credit card merchant statement. But I must be 100% within the letter and the intent of the rules which define PCI compliance.

Writing a Java app to run on all platforms was a great suggestion to "pre-process" the data, redacting private data, before upload to my site for further processing. But, I wonder, why not do ALL the processing via a downloadable Java App?

Is that a guarantee that I am 100% PCI compliant?

The problem will be when it fails a user and they need it debugged...I would need that PDF file sent to me for debugging. BUT, isn't that a much safer route to take than putting it on a website?

I would certainly have a high security bar to maintain regarding how I handle my PC, and maybe the methodology I use when choosing a password for that email account. But NOT having a website where any Credit Card info resides seems like a smarter way to go.

So, I am now imaging a simple website, probably WordPress. I would post a current version of the Java App for download and explanation of what it does, etc.

Users could download it and privately process their merchant account report on their own PC's. In the LIKELY event they have an unsupported report format, they could email me their full report. (Redacting private data from a PDF itself seems like a pretty high bar for users to handle)

On receipt of the PDF, I would redact all private data for that statement, and delete all un-redacted…
I am converting my site into an affiliate marketing one.
I want t be able to share the revenue paid to us as publishers with the individual "readers/users" traffic that we send to the
Can anyone tell me how this is done?   And how can the payments be sent to the reader/user and by whom.

I'm trying to create a proposal ecommerce site for a small business. I created a permalinks structure that you can see in the image.

Please go to savannahthinktank.com and click on the links - the link structure is working, but the posts are giving me a 404 error.

Second question - I guess I still need to create a 404 page for this site, inside wordpress, and link to it from Apache?

Dear experts,

We have a project planned to accept online payments on our website.

Our website uses Kentico EMS and is hosted in local AWS zone (Sydney region) with all website traffic behind SSL. We are currently using an AWS dedicated host, however we would like to move to an AWS shared host to reduce costs.

We will use a PCI-compliant third-party payment gateway provider for the transactions. We are not looking at storing customer's credit card information on our servers. I want to understand the process to ensure we are PCI compliant in Australia.

I would appreciate any comment on below:

1. Does our web server need to be on a dedicated server/host? i.e, not on a shared host?
2. Since the payment will be processed by the payment gateway provider, do we need to take further measures on our current infrastructure (as described above) to become compliant?
3. Anything else I should look into?

Cheers all!
I have a client who's selling tangible goods (ie: food products) online using WordPress & Woocommerce and who's based out of New Hampshire in the US, .. where there's no sales tax.

Should I be setting up any kinds of special tax tables to ensure that customers are paying sales tax based on whatever US state they're having the merchandise shipped to? In other words, .. if someone from AZ purchases something from the NH business owner and has it shipped to them in AZ .. does the extra 8.1% sales tax apply in this situation?  Or not?

If the extra state specific sales tax DOES apply .. then what's the most efficient way for me to set that up within WooCommerce?

The currency is changing or reshaping rapidly with the passage of time and we need to know to about this. Should we invest or where to buy from the BTC and other coins.
