My client just received an email out of the blue from feedburner.google.com.  It doesn't look like spam. It contains a link to a blog post from her site that was posted over a year ago. It comes from the feedburner account "Easton Foundations" which is the name of the company she works for but no one has any recollection of creating an "Easton Foundations" feedburner account let alone sending out a link to a post that was posted over  a year ago.  It seems legit though. If I click on the "unsubscribe" link, it takes me to the feedburner.google.com unsubscribe page.

Any ideas?

Hi guys,

I want to be able to set up charges for hosting the domain of my clients?

How it works for me is...I registered their domain with my local registrar (just to have that country code at the end of the domain name - good for the business where its from and located) and I told my registrar to point it to my nameservers so i can take full control of the domain (ie: MX records, etc). This of course does not includes website hosting. I do have a packaged for the website hosting. But not for the domain hosting alone.

The reason why i asked is because i have a few clients whom I hosted their domain under my server for email services only (no website hosting agreement, only for email purposes). I hosted their domain for email services (ie: Google Apps or Office 365).

With my registrar there is a fee for hosting the domain which is $35.00 Annual per domain.

Do i still charge my clients for hosting their domain or how do i go about it?

Kindly advise.

Regards,
Bakaka

I have an xlsx file with 40,000 emails in column A that I want to import into a new Mailchimp list. In Mailchimp I've checked "Copy and past contacts from .xls or .xlsx file. Then I copied the A column to the clipboard in xlxs and pasted it to the "Paste subscriber" box in MailChimp. The data goes in but when I click Next I get the error "You must have an email address column to import a list."

So I inserted a row at the top of column A in xlsx and wrote "Email Address" there. Copied again to clipboard and pasted into MailChimp. Get same error as above.

Tried next copying the A column and pasting into Notepad++. Wrote "Email Address" above the first email, and copied from Notepad++ copied to clipboard. Selected "Import contacts from .csv or .txt file" in Mailchimp and pasted again. Still get the same error: "You must have an email address column to import a list."

So what is MailChimp looking for?

Thanks for any help

Users have noticed lately that when they send emails with attachments, some of the attachments get duplicated. The emails in their sent items contain the duplicate file attachments. This has happened several times in the past 1-2 months and it was brought to our attention by specific users only. The affected users use either Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010.

Any ideas of what could be causing this?

I received my Lumia 950 XL yesterday 30/11/12. The transition from my old Lumia 920 with Windows 8.1 was smooth and quick but not quite 100%. The main thing I had to do manually were to enter the passwords for each of my email accounts. Then all emails synced quickly. That was yesterday. Today everything is fine with all email accounts syncing except one, my main one. naturally. It's fully synced up to late yesterday. I've checked all settings but can't seem to fix it. It's an Exchange account as part of my Office 365 Business Premium subscription. But my other 2 Exchange email accounts are synced right up to now. They all have the same settings. Any suggestions please?

HI

We have two exchange accounts for two different companies A and B. When the user logs in he uses company A and that profile has been given full rights to B.

However when he sends email from the inbox of B the from address defaults to A and it ends up in the sent item of A. Is there a way this can be changed so any replies or email from A and B are reflect their email address?

Regards

Yamin

We have a shared mailbox and users who have access to this mailbox are having problems sending email as this mailbox. They have this mailbox added to their outllook as secondary mailbox. When they select this mailbox in the "from" section the email just sits in the outbox and does not go.

This mailbox is 7 GB in size. And for one user it temporarily got sorted by recreating the profile but resurfaced again. What can we check for this problem.

Since the change in ssl certificate requirements we decided to use a hosted email service. We are using SBS 2011 Exchange 2010. Since the expiration of the certificate on the server we went with a self signed certificate.  We have shutoff all exchange services on the server and moved all email to an external provider. When on the local domain we get the following error "The security certificate was issued by a company you have not chosen to trust." and you have to say ok or cancel every time to get the email. This is not an issue for people not on the local network. How do you resolve this problem?

Thanks,

Steve

Why does Outlook delete trashed emails after 10 days?  Is there a way to set the time period? I haven't found a consistent set of answers on the web.

Ok, here's the scoop.

POP3 Mail account filtered first through mailwasher to Outlook 2013. there are multiple accounts held with the provider and this is the only account having problems.

Sometimes the mail in the inbox (after mailwasher processing) randomly disappears - latest one being this morning, a test email I sent. I have liaised with Firetrust and the issue is not their side. I have deleted/readded the account and ran a repair of Office.

I have checked the webmail prior to downloading the emails and can see them there, just not when pulled into Outlook.....ideas please.

Hi,
we've been asked by our c.e.o to look for any outgoing emails to a certain Email address
from all mailboxes in our organization (and there are alot)

i know we can do that with the  "Message Tracking" Option
but i can only check with one mailbox at a time

is there a way to search for outgoing emails to a certain email address from all mailboxes at once?

I need to FWD an email that I never actually never sent to my professor. There was an issue with an assignment, and I sent him the screenshots of the problem, but he wants proof that I emailed him on the 7th about it (the assignment was due the 8th). Is there a way to FWD an email with a fake time and date stamp? I would never ask this except it is a huge assignment, and for the last 2 months I've been dealing with major blood clot issues and the steroids I'm on are making me dingy and I feel really stupid. I typed the email, just never sent it. Is there anything I can do?

On the 7th I logged into Blackboard for school, went in to an assignment link, but the instructions did not come up. I wrote an email to my instructor informing him of this, but came to find I didn't hit send! The assignment was due on the 8th. I sent him screen shots of the problem, however he wants me to forward him the email as well!

Normally I would just take the loss, except he has gone ABOVE with kindness to me regarding an issue I had with 40 blood clots in my lungs and 2 in my brain, accepting late assignments and working with me. I am too embarrassed to tell him I never hit send. I cannot afford to miss out on these points and I am on the brink of tears.

I need to know how I can forward him the message I never sent, with the date of the 7th and a certain time stamp. Can this be done?

I'm trying to help my mom solve a problem with her email. When anyone tries to send her an email they receive the error message: Reason: Remote SMTP server has rejected address
Diagnostic code: smtp;550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist.

The thing is, she does receive the email. The other strange thing is that the error email is saying (I am replacing the correct address with xxxx):
Recipient address: xxxx@gmail.com
 Original address: xxxx@mac.com

When this started happening she deleted her gmail account hoping that would fix it but it didn't. I'm not sure what to tell her and an hour of Google searches hasn't come up with a solution.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I setup a new lab environment and installed DC, ADC and exchange 2013. Created 3 recipients and configured in 3 client pc's. Emails are delivering and it is showing in sent items. But the emails are not coming to inbox.  Kindly let me know if any additional settings should be done in exchange to receive emails in inbox. Thank you.

How do I switch my yahoo mail account to my new number without alternate email or password

Hey everyone.

I'm quite puzzled with the recent events that have happened with my Google Apps for work account and strange CanaryToken notifications.

I use a service called CanaryTokens from canarytokens.org which allows you to generate a random string URL on a variety of channels, ie HTTP, DNS, SQL Queries, etc.  Ex, you can generate a random URL (and insert this URL as an image inside of a string of HTML code for use in an Email Signature) and if the signature is loaded, the token is triggered and sends an email notification.

Here's the scoop.

I've set up a CanaryDrop on my Google apps for Work email signature so every time I compose an email, or send an email with my Google Apps for Work Gmail Web Interface (including whichever service uses the web interface for composing emails, on any platform, ie a PC, iOS device via browser, etc), I'll get an email notification that looks similar to this:

One of your canarydrops was triggered.

Channel: HTTP
Time   : 2015-09-30 18:36:57.987925
Memo   : this is an email signature test for Google Apps for Work Webmail interface.
Source IP : 99.239.104.75
User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; CPU OS 9_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/601.1.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Mobile/13A344

Now, here's the strange thing.  So far I've had 2 very strange token alerts coming from an IP address in the Phillipines with a user agent stating they were using a Windows 7 system (which I do not use), and also a more recent one …

Hi all,
Yesterday, I had a user receive over 9000 emails in one hour - they where all newsletter style emails (including many from Mailchimp) in many different languages.  The scary thing was that they all looked like legit subscriptions - headers looked legit etc.  The user is hosted on exchange 2010 and it didn't affect any of his colleagues.  Neither watchguard nor Xeams picked up on it and how I eventually got it under control was to increase the spam weighting of subscribe/welcome/subscription etc and then have them quarantined.
Apparently he hasn't subscribed to any newsletters but has anyone ever had this happen to them and how did it start?
Cheers

Hi, I've created two monitors which will send all incoming and outgoing messages to a third account. All seems to work perfect except when I attach a file (before sent the mail), monitor send a mail with de attachment.
When I send the mail, monitor send the mail again, so I will have two copys of this attachment.

I thought that it could be because of draftmonitorlevel, but I omited this property, so acording to documentation it will take NONE as default value.
   <apps:property name='incomingEmailMonitorLevel' value='FULL_MESSAGE'/>
   <apps:property name='outgoingEmailMonitorLevel' value='FULL_MESSAGE'/>
  //*--OMITED-- <apps:property name='draftMonitorLevel' value='HEADER_ONLY'/> ----- OMITED----*/
   <apps:property name='chatMonitorLevel' value='FULL_MESSAGE'/>

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to automatically create a PDF file and save it to a folder when an email from a particular sender arrives. Principally this is a Hotmail account but it can be any other ie I can change it.

Short of writing a client email app to do this, does anyone know of a way to achieve the same? The route of creating an app is tempting..

Thanks

I have a user who accidentally, using the iPhone mail app, archived all their email out of their inbox--over 6000 messages.  They still have access to the messages, but they are mixed in with the over 150,000 messages in their All Mail folder.  Anyone know of an easy way to identify these messages in the All Mail, perhaps by when they were moved, and move them back?
