A web application that provides message management, composition, and reception functions may internally act as an email client; as a whole, it is commonly referred to as webmail. Hi - I'm having an issue sending email through two of my accounts on my Outlook 2016.  I can send email through my phone using WIFI using the same internet connection as my Outlook 2016.  I've verified the port 587, smtp server, not secure connection, etc.  Can anyone see what the problem is with Outlook?  I have other email accounts setup on my Outlook that send email just fine.  I've called the ISP just to verify they aren't blocking 587 and they said they aren't.

Thanks - Zack

Ever since we switched our companies email from in-house Exchange to hosted Exchange (Office 365) all of a sudden it's like the floodgates opened and users receive phony emails masquerading as being from Microsoft or Office 365. These emails most times have a link that asks user to login. The message in the email can vary greatly but here are some examples:

It as if Hackers\Spammers have a list of all the domains and email addresses hosted by Microsoft and spam us constantly trying to trick users.

Is any way to stop this or at least slow it down?? I have all filters set to aggressive. There must be someone reads this that knows what I am talking about.

Please help!

How can we make it so that every time that a user types the first few characters of a user's name or email address within the address bar Outlook 2016 will automatically search the user's Outlook contacts and then suggest email address auto complete entries based upon the user's Outlook contacts.

We have several users who have lots of Outlook contacts and when they type in the first few letters of the user's names or email addresses within the address bar the users whose email addresses they are looking for don't appear in the email address auto complete suggestion lists.

The email server is Office 365.

How can this be fixed?

Or are there any utilities or software programs that will prompt Outlook 2016 to search through all existing contacts to provide relevant email address auto complete suggestions?
Please provide me with the instructions on how to Increase the number of Outlook 2016 email auto complete suggestion entries.

The email server is Office 365.
For some reason texts that I receive on my Sprint PCS Galaxy S8 cell phone are also being delivered to my Office 365 email account.

The only reason I can think that this is happening is because I have entered this cell phone number as the recover number for my Office 365 account. I am also an Office 365 global admin.

i also have this same Office 365 work email account setup within the built in email application on my Samsung Galaxy S8.

What is the process for me disable these cell phone texts from being delivered into my Office 365 email account?
every now and then the background in out look where the emails are listed becomes black and as you move the cursor down then it starts to show the emails. the only remedy for that is to close outlook and restart it . it gets annoying. any other solutions?
My OS is win 10 pro 64 bit and I have the Business Essentials account for Office 365 and I use Outlook, and i usually load the program from www.outlook.live.com/owa  as u see in the attached snap shot.  I am a bit confused as to what version of Outlook it is, and hope the Experts can point me in the right direction.  From the inbox I tried to right click to get the menu to export the email, but I could not find the selection.  This is what I want to do to export the email, but am I looking at the right program. thank u and regards.
Images are not appearing in Outlook 2016. For example, I copy and paste an image into a new message and it show the box placeholder, but the image does not appear. I have attached an image as an example. Thanks!
Dear Experts, I am in a Distribution group of Exchange  2016 environment. When I sent an email to this group, I received an email from myself. So how can we stop it? I tested on both outlook and OWA but there is no difference.
I need to remove some email address auto complete entries from appearing when I am typing within the email address To field within the Gmail website.

How can this be done?

Emails - Archiving

How as an Administrator in Office 365, can I setup to get access to email from any User - from when they started with the business.

At present we can only recover from 2017 only - we need say to recover if the User(s) have been with company since 2015.

Would appreciate some advice on this - within Office 365.
I get my email service from a hosting site (which is also my DNS provider), which is Namespro.ca, for my personal site which is bissegger.ca.

I have 2 iPads - one iPad mini, and one standard iPad, where I cannot get email to send (stays in the outbox). There is no problem with incoming email.

I have tried a lot of things to address this issue, which I will describe below, but have not been able to resolve the issue - so I am looking for some help.

Here's the background info, and what I have tried:

1. I have set up the email successfully with no problem on my Mac on the first try, and sends and receives correctly, using the same ports and everything. So I do not believe it is a network provider issue.

2. I am using 2 different iPads for testing.
- iPad mini version 9.3.5, and
- iPad standard version 10.3.3
Both are at the latest software version FYI

3. Initially, I thought it may be a certificate issue, so I asked my hosting provider for an alternative to 'mail.bissegger.ca' (where the alternative has a certificate), and they provided one 'lithium.namespro.ca'. I have tried both iPads with both 'mail.bissegger.ca'  and 'lithium.namespro.ca', but no luck with either.

4. I have 2 emails : chuck@bissegger.ca and diane@bissegger.ca on BOTH ipads, and neither work on either ipad. So it is not an email accounts issue. I have deleted all other SMTP servers so there should not be any conflicts.

5. I am pretty IT saavy (I run an IT professional services …
On a new laptop I put Outlook 2007 on it and told it to search for my account automatically@charter.net and it put the account on with a pop account and started to download and by doing that it downloaded it to my laptop but erased all the emails off the server from charter I have most all of the emails which of course are important to me I want to repopulate the charter account with some 2000 email on the new laptop I have.
However my other laptop desktop and my cell phone now only show some 100 new emails and not the 2000 not with their before I need to have all accounts is IMAP which they are now but the outlook account that has those 2000 emails I'm afraid to put back online as if it tries to sync from the server to the desktop or to the laptop is going to erase the 2000 emails on that newer laptop.
How can I send all those emails on that new laptop backup to the server to sync with the Charter (the ISP)server.
Thank you
I like the functionality of Boomerang and would consider it on my next product launch. Does it require GMail?

Is Mail Gun an alternative? I used that once before and it did not require GMail.

A user is using corporate MDM-managed iPad & reading his corporate emails
from this device (that is in encrypted partition) using MobileIron's Email+, a
more secure form of email client compared to Apple's native email client.

Now this user requests for 2 common mailboxes to be configured on his iPad
so that he could read emails sent to his group.  Our MDM admin told us Email+
can't support the additional mailboxes (I'm not sure if this is true but I heard
the admin chap has logged a case with MobileIron).

What are the risks?  Can we create Exchange rules (as the emails had to
go to Exchange first before going to Email+ (or any other email clients) to
auto-forward one copy of emails sent to common mailbox to this user.

We had previously migrated users from Apple's email client to Email+ for
security reason, so don't want to go back to the old way of using Apple
email client

i mark hostupon hosted linux php email as spam but same senders keep sending email

I have been requested by the CEO to take a collection of Outlook PST files (v2007) and determine the range of dates of the emails.
> We have a collection of about 8 PST files from various phases of this employees history.
> I need to determine the date ranges of the emails and combine these PST files into one or maybe two PST files for archiving.

I have found tools that will report statistics of the PST folders (Size, attachments, etc), but I have not found one that will report email receive dates.

Second question;
I am thinking that I could import these PST files into one outlook account and use the 'No Duplicate email' options to reduce the number of copies that could occur - Does this sound like something that will work?

Inquiring minds need to know...

Dear Wizards, when I changed my display name in OWA - Exchange 2016 ono-premises, this error appeared. Can you please explain and suggest? Many thanks.

We are using Exchange 2007 and outlook 2013. The PA to the Director have the access to the Director calendar. The PA opens the director calendar from his PC and Right click a free slot on the director calendar –New appointment and invite Attendees and send the meeting request. When click send after some time gets and error Delivery failed to these recipients or distribution list.

Do I need to give any permissions for the PA.  After some time PA  gets a message on his inbox saying Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists:
There's a problem with the recipient's mailbox. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator. Please see the Diagnostic information for administrators attached.

Any help will be great, thanks in advance.

Hi Experts,

Recently, we have been receiving spam that looks like it was coming from our domain which bypasses our spam filters. There is an SPF record for the MX mail.simex.ca but that didn't help. Any way to prevent further spam like this from bypassing our spam filters?

Thanks in advance.

In GMAIL, is it possible to delete send items and keep the inbox message for a same thread ?

One of my users is using Outlook 2011 on Mac with Exchange email account (Office 365). He has text based signature configured to appear in each email he sends.
We noticed that when people receive his emails the fonts are not the same size he used for composing emails. He used to size 8 Verdana for text and email but now we changed it to size 11 Verdana. Saved the settings and closed and reopened Outlook. When composing email it all looks fine. When I received his emails on Outlook 2016 Windows the fonts changed size 8 to size 6 and from size 11 to 8.5. We also checked some of his emails to which people replied and the fonts there vary from 8.5 to 12, but we don't know what email software recipients are using. We checked it in user's Sent items and it is fine there.
It looks like the emails this user is sending are all plain texts, at least the ones I saw.
As far as I am concerned all of the updated for Outlook 20111 and his Mac are installed.

Is this just the way Mac "likes" the rest of the world or can we make sure that his emails are displayed properly?

Anyone know the SMTP authentication for San.RR.com?   I'm also not well versed in Apple Mail client so I may be doing something wrong.  I referenced below but I don't see SMTP authentication... My options are External, Kerberos, NTLM, MD5, and Password.  Also, do I need need a IMAP path prefix ?

While sending HTML links to a relative using Thunderbird I discovered an anomaly or mistake or something?

The web page I wish the relative to access is

but if you place that in an email and send it the hyperlink turns into

http://www.jawamarkt.cz/en/search/electr-ignition-set-12volt-top-price  (the hyphen is still there but doesn't form part of the hyperlink).

So ...

Is this an error on Thunderbird's part or is there a reason for it?
Are hyperlinks in HTML allowed to have a hyphen at end or must they finish with a letter or number?
