Hi Experts,

I hope and pray to the Almighty that everyone is Safe and Secure !!!

I am receiving same email sometime from different yahoo groups, which is eating away the inbox space.
Is there a way to identify and delete all those emails except one of them in ONE go.

Regards
Kanwaljit

A clients uses IONOS (1&1) as their e-mail provider.

When they send e-mail from Outlook or the webmail client the sent messages don't amalgamate or synchronise: They are separate queues on the different systems.

Any ideas on how to do this or can it be done?

With many thanks.

I have a user that needs to convert email files to pdf.  They have a folder on their desktop and for the past 2 weeks have dragged emails from outlook into the folder.  They are wanting a program that will convert these emails into pdf files.  Is there something like that?  And the other question would be if there is  a software, how would it handle an attachment within the email?

Moved client from AOL email to Gmail...
Exported AOL contacts and successfully imported into Gmail...

Client looks thru imported contacts and determines some are missing...

Determined that she entered a number of email addresses into AOL email that were
NOT in the AOL contact list....AOL remembered those email addresses....like Outlook does in the NK2 file...

Question...
Does AOL have a "NK2" type of file someplace that can be moved to Gmail or exported someway so that
I can enter then into Gmail...

Hoope this makes sense...

I have a group of outsourced workers that work for me from India.  We are wanting them to be able to send PDF documents directly to a printer in our office in the US, but.... do not want to have them connecting to our office via a VPN or anything like that.

With that being said, I am wondering if it is possible to have them email the PDF to an email address that uses Outlook 2016 and setup a script or something that would run every 30 seconds or so looking for all new emails and automatically printing any attachments, then marking the email as read and moving to another folder?

If so, can I get assistance with the code/script or any software that would do this?  In pretty bad need as this was just added to my plate and they want it ready by Monday.
Any assistance is appreciated.  Operating System is Windows 10 Pro, 64 Bit

Experts,

I need help with updating the SendRenewalEmails sub so that it works on my version of Excel.  I am using MS excel office 365 Pro plus. I was initially working with expert Martin Liss, but the question couldn't be fully resolved due to his outdated version of outlook.

Please see Martin Liss https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/29166782/Base-on-Renewal-date-send-emails-from-excel-via-outlook-part-3.html#a42995903 post on what is needed.

When I try to set up Outlook in Office 365, I get error messages.   It seems to default to IMAP instead of POP.

Dear Expert Team

I have installed a Device for the first time, and the device is called Ultraloq UL3 Series
We were successful in the installation of the equipment and the operation of the device. We also were able to activate the app that works with the device by registering with an email account. But know we recorded with our email account and know we need to register with the client account know we have noticed that the app only can be registered with on account the operate the app, now we would like to remove the account we registered.

Its a security door lock

We have had an instance where some of our customers have received emails that are purported to be from my organisation. Upon checking of the email internet header there are a few questions that I have:

1. Is a user able to edit an the display name of an email so that it shows whatever hey want? eg. change it from "David Smith" to "User@abc.com" ?
2. How and where is the display name and the email address tied to the display name shown in the internet header of an email?

Thanks.

I am using hotmail, if I ever marked any email as Junk or Phishing or clicked Block, will hotmail automatically inform the sender’s server about I marked their emails as spam? I recently noted that a genuine sender said I marked their emails as spam previously (which I did not recall I did), and they stop delivering any emails to me now until they reverse this situation from their servers.

We've all been in this situation I'm sure. I have a client that will not let go of Outlook 2010 and the imapi settings are no longer working no matter what I try. For my own understanding has Microsoft completely discontinued connecting to Outlook 2010?

I'm going to move my client to Office 365 but I'm curious myself about 2010 because I come across it from time to time.

Thank you

I often get "You won a $100 bonus gift card" emails which I promptly report (because Hotmail has a report phishing menu item).
But I also have email accounts where there are no ways to report clearly fraudulent messages.
Are there any places I can forward fraudulent emails to?
It seems like the wrong thing to do is nothing. I'd like to do something. There's not even a topic here on EE which covers "Fraud" or "Phishing" or "police"

I have an existing Outlook 2013 setup with one POP3 email configuration. I purchased a new POP3 email account that I wanted to add to the existing Outlook Profile, set as default, and remove the  original. I believe I made a mistake deleting the original POP 3 account  from my registra before removing it cleanly from Outlook.  So, when I went to open the account settings within Outlook, it won't open. I am unable to access the account to delete it from the OUtlook Profile. Luckily I was able to switch the default to the new POP 3 account so Outlook does open, yet I believe I will have problems with  the  calendar, tasks, etc. I already know I am  unable to reply from the new account.

How can I get rid of the original email account, and have all the Outlook functions (Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, etc.  associate to the new user?

Hi Experts,
I am looking for a program that will keep checking at a particular folder every 20 minutes, if there were no new files created then will send an email.
This should be running all the time except for night hours (10.15 PM to 6.00 AM).
Thanks

We have an Online Exchange (O365). We have multiple affected users with the same issue and is persistent across all versions of Outlook.

The users have full delegate access to a Shared Mailbox. They are able to view and access the mailbox just fine in Outlook, but the Shared Mailboxes also have In-Place Archiving enabled. These show up in the delegates users' Outlook as Online Archive - Example@Example.com . But when attempting to access the Online Archive via Outlook, they are getting the error message:

"The set of folders cannot be opened. The file C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\User@Example.com - Example.ost is in use and cannot be accessed. Close any application that is using this file, and then try again. You might need to restart the computer.

We have confirmed that the users are able to connect to the Shared Mailbox via OWA and access the archives there, this issue is solely isolated to Outlook.

We have tried purging the AutoDiscover keys in the registry, creating a new email profile in Outlook, and deleting the OST files and Outlook cache to no avail.

We have an org with both 2010 and 2016 exchange all on premises.  The 2016 servers are in Europe and we originally had them using "xxx@company.eu" as UPN and primary SMTP.

The business has asked us to change everyone to a "XXX@Company.COM"  UPN and Primary SMTP.

We have users in the .eu that have been using in-place archives with no issue.  Once their UPN and Primary SMTP has changed they now cannot access the in-place archive.

They (the .eu users) are on a separate network (acquired company in process of getting onto our network) and use Outlook Anywhere.

There is a mix of Outlook Office Pro 2010 and 2016.
We have recreated profiles and still not working,

The 2010 Outlook clients can see the archive but it says it cannot connect if clicked on.
The 2016 Outlook clients - the archive never shows up.

All of then can get to the archive via OWA with no issues, and I can add a profile from on our network with no issues and see the archive no problem.

Is this an autodiscover issue ??  What am I missing?

Thanks in advance!

Creating a User Registration form. The data goes into the database and the email address is correct- a Hotmail address. The registered user is not receiving the email with the activation code.

// Send the email:
				$body = "Thank you for registering at Yarn Extras. To activate your account, please click on this link:\n\n";
				$body .= BASE_URL . 'activate.php?x=' . urlencode($e) . "&y=$a";
				mail($trimmed['email'], 'Registration Confirmation', $body, 'From: help@thiswebsite.com');

I have users with a primary email domain as @domain1.com.  They also have aliases of @domains2.com and @domains3.com.  What I need to happen is that I want the user to be able to change the "From:" email from their primary at any time incase they have to show as a different email address for legal purposes.

I attempted this with outlook and entered in one of my aliases on the from line but the recipient still shows as my primary and not the address in the "From:" I manually entered.  Any help would be greatly appreciated
