Enterprise Software

Enterprise software, also known as enterprise application software (EAS), is computer software used to satisfy the needs of an organization, including businesses, schools, interest-based user groups, clubs, charities, or governments. Services provided by enterprise software are typically business-oriented tools such as online shopping and online payment processing, interactive product catalogue, automated billing systems, security, enterprise content management, IT service management, customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), business intelligence (BI), project management, human resource management (HR), manufacturing and supply chain management, enterprise application integration (EAI), and enterprise forms automation. Enterprise software is often available as a suite of customizable programs that require specialist capabilities.

My company is beginning the process of evaluating a new ERP system. I was wondering if anyone knew of any trade shows or conventions that happen yearly that might  have many erp vendors and demos. Thanks

Hi,

Does anyone know if any CRM type software that also allows you to send email through it.

I'd like to be able to set up template emails and then allow staff to login and send emails to various customers / leads and update their status (not interested, no reply, live)

- different employees can login and send emails through the same campaign but from their email address (peter@domain.com, paul@domain.com)

- update each customer to a different sales status so we can track leads and where they came from etc.

In order for my client's ERP system (xTuple) to work with their new banking system, the check registry needs to be exported as a fixed with file.  The fields sizes are preset and will have leading zeros (e.g., 000101, 00000243).

What is the best way to get the results of a query to look like this.

Hi,
We are building company and our ERP system is SAP.
Our SAP server sends emails to multiple external users to relay through Exchange 2010 server, with large attachments each attachment can be up to 25 MB. We send at least 100 emails per day and each email is send to multiple users.
Because of this now we have issue with Exchange, the queue gets too big as one email of these emails will take 5 to 10 min to go out of the queue. When I look at the queue I can see 2 emails at the time being active and the rest of them the status is ready

My Questions are
1.      If one email contains 25 MB attachment and is being sent to multiple users, does exchange sees it as one email?
2.      Does anyone else have similar issue with sending the large  attachments
3.      Any suggestion of how we can get this attachments out from SAP without building up the Exchange queue and stopping the normal emails to be stack in the queue

Though I know there are many answers to this issue I Would like to ask expert resource here on what they are doing to best protect against the current Ransomware in a enterprise environment.

We are currently using Symantec Endpoint Protection for desktop and Web Marshall on a proxy but stations are still getting infected from time to time. We've only have one infection that sta started to spread to a network drive but damage was minimal, this time.

Would love to hear what issue being using at this time to best block current strains before infection on all levels successfully.

thanks for any response

I have written a inner join to join tables: MARA and MAKT.

In both tables, column MATNR is common so i join them. Still i get duplicate values when i run the query so i need to find more columns that are related by primary key and foreign key.

In SE11 (MARA table), the Fields tab shows the primary keys for MARA and Entry help/check tab tells me about foreign keys on table MARA and the check table name.

However, None of the foreign keys show check table as MAKT.

So how do i decide how are MARA and MAKT related?

I am trying to move our CRM installation to a new server on another domain. Through searching I found that I need to create a new organization and then import the original org. I find that a bothersome error has gone and another has replaced it. I am getting a timeout expired msg (see attachment). I am not sure if the issue has to do with a busy SQL server or??? I intend to wait until tomorrow morning to attempt again in case it is a matter of system being busy, but wanted to ask if someone has seen this before.

I login from home and office in two different installations of SAP.

One system has all the options under DBACOCKPIT --> Diagnostics while the other one only has a single option marked with a circle. Why.

Is this a privileges issue?

If so how can i get all options?

DBACOCKPIT screen. Option marked with red circle is the only option available.

We are considering Avidian Prophet CRM and Salesforce.com as CRM solutions for our sales team.  I wanted to reach out to the community and get your thoughts and experience with either or both.  We are leaning towards Avidian Prophet CRM but wanted to get the good and bad on both to support our decision.

This is a simple program that aggregates columns providing resultset with 2 decimal places.
However, the result doesn't come with 2 decimal places, why?

Program:
DATA : average TYPE P DECIMALS 2,
      sum TYPE P DECIMALS 2.

SELECT AVG( menge ) SUM( menge )
  INTO (average, sum)
  FROM mari.

WRITE : / 'Average : ', average,
        /(30) ' Sum : ', sum

Result:
Average: 154.631,67
Sum: 1.478.278.810,02

Hi

I have a client that is running SAGE accounting packages (500 & 1000) on a W2K3 (32bit) (DELL Poweredge 2900 with dual e5420 2.5 GHz quadcore xeons)

I have suggested that we migrate this server to W2K8 R2 (64bit), in order to support more RAM and to add more disk space, and more specifically, additional users

Personnaly I find this config overkill just for Sage (max five concurrent users)

We would purchase a couple of disks for the purpose of a 'clean' reinstallation

I checked with SAGE (ABSYSY) with regards to compatibility and all seems in order.

Can anyone, with experience in SAGE, roughly explain to me how one 'moves'
a SAGE installation from one server to another ?

thanks
yann

Greetings, are there businesses/services for verifying a software application/process against existing patents? for possible violations/infringements.

Environment:  migrated to Exchange 2013 on server 2012r2 and migrated our mailboxes over to the server. Our Exchange 2010 on server 2008r2 Environment is still up with out any user mailboxes on it.

It's still routing emails but testing hangs for a very very long time on incoming server but the outgoing passes right away when we test, I never see it finish but the window disappears. I'm assuming if this failed it would stay open? This is a new development, on the Exchange 2010 only environment this would go right away. I have made a send connector in exchange 2013 to accept connections from the CRM server.

Now when attempting to deploy the rules all the previous rules pass but the new rule will fail with the following error and not route emails to the queue.

We sell hose by the foot to customers and buy it in 10, 25 and 50 ft rolls.  We can also sell the entire roll.  My inventory unit is in feet and by default the on-hand inventory is displayed that way.  The problem is that I can see 2500 ft of an item in inventory, but don't know how many 10, 25 or 50 ft rolls make that up.  Is there a way of displaying how many rolls of each length make up the total footage displayed?  This would be in Dynamics AX 2012.

Q1, The following code compiles fine, however, the TRANSPORTING (colb) clause dosen't work.
The code works fine if TRANSPORTING clause is commented out. If uncommented, the code dosen't work why?

Q2, Also TRANSPORTING (cola) generates an error.

I used a variable called - myvar.
I am uncertain where all i have used it during the ABAP development.

How can i search all ABAP code ever written in SAP for this variable?
In other words, how can i search SAP ABAP code for a variable, key word etc..

like in Oracle we had all_source, dba_source views to search pl/sql code for any string is there something similar in SAP ABAP?

This is our current salesforce workflow / implementation:
 All signups are "contacts".
These are automatically created
I think they are created as leads first and then converted to contacts - not sure about this part.

And "leads" are created manually. The problem is that our salespeople don't manually update the fields for leads. And when someone from leads signups using the same email ID ( in contacts and leads), then that lead is automatically converted to a contact. And we are not able to account for it.

We don't want to mix leads and contacts. But we need better accountability for leads and also want to differentiate between them.

What is the best way to do this?
