I'm trying to get SAP to send a report to Excel 2013 but keep getting the error Missing activeX component  Business Explorer Global Services.

Someone mentioned that this will only work with Excel 2010 , which I find odd, but then again this IS Microsoft!

What can I do other than downgrade excel to get it working?

Hello. I use SAP to extract various information from the screen manually. I would like a help with a script (VBA / SAPGUI) that searches the entries in a worksheet and copies the SAP information and saves it in an excel spreadsheet. can you help me?

I enter a transaction (ZPDIS_MM_BMD), with the contract number (4600xxxxxx), which shows a list of projects, then I choose one in the second column of these processes and I click for more information, then it has the information I need, it is not editable . There are several contracts and each contract has a list of projects.

We have marketing, sales, customer care, projects, legal, finance , accounts , admin, HR and many stake holders for each department and also management team who would like to know the daily/real time, fortnightly reports from every departments and from every branch office like region wise and all put together i,e  consolidated report and finally COO/CEO/CFO and MD get the numbers report,  though we have multiple systems like for sales and marketing SFDC and for some entry level ERP and few departments are operating with spreadsheets, we are looking for the solution where reports and associated data mainly reports from many systems like SFDC, ERP and spreadsheet all the reports of these are hosted in some location and by using some solution and create the reports and accessible to the stakeholders, please let me know for this process automation what solution would be a best while I understand we have to integrate applications/integrate with BI tool but this would take much longer time we are looking for some interim solution, at present we are using nextcloud for file share and sync can we ask users to palce their final versions of data in the folders and then use a solution like share point /ms access/Microsoft SQL server to achieve this process automation and reports for all the stake holders , not sure if sharepoint would be the solution, can you please suggest software solution for this so that we can go for that and search for software person skilled on …

installing SAP ERP on-premise or on cloud recommended, if we go for on-premise what would be best way for business continuity  and recovery, is it recommended interbranch for DR and recovery or cloud please suggest the best recommended.

We use Skype for Business and it's in the O365 portal.  Our Exchange server is on-prem and our AD is on-prem.  All we use the cloud for is the S4B licenses.

We are noticing that some users don't have pictures and some do.  It's random, and, they use to have pictures.  It's odd and I've been tasked with trying to find out why random users don't have pics.

For the most part, users upload their pics thru OWA and that's worked fine.  

Does anyone know where I would start to troubleshoot this issue?  Do I start in the cloud?  On-prem?  Outlook?  AD?

Just looking for a good starting point from someone who has seen this before.

I have one user of 35 that the Microsoft Dynamics CRM client for Outlook is disabled. It will not re-enable. (Outlook, Tools, Trust Center, Add-ins, COM add in) All other users are working find. If I have the user log onto a different computer (roaming profile) the problem follows her so it is not anything about the computer or installation, it is something in her profile.

Has any one experienced this and knows of a fix?

Can I just delete her Outlook profile and rebuild that, or do I have to delete her user profile and rebuild that?

Our organisation has decided to implement ERP -   our management is convinced with SAP to be chosen however not yet finalized, our objective is to have one unified solution across the organisation at present we are using sales force.com for marketing and sales function,
1. would like to understand does SAP has capability for sales force automation and does it support the integrations like CTI, web, face book, mainly does it allow web API integrations
2, if not SAP please suggest other ERP product which can handle sales force automation and other process, we are in real estate vertical (we do not construct we only sell the flats).
3. what all the measures to be taken to implement ERP,  is CIO needed as the technology is one part, do we require Consultant who has implemented in our vertical and project manager who leads the implementation,
4. please help me with the list for the need of technology and IT head role in detail for this project similary consultants and Project Manager and what are various types of roles to be put in place to choose and start ERP implemtetion who can drive and implement successfully.

Hello,

I have a client who has 60 hospital clients throughout the US. They are looking to grow but we want to see what attributes these 60 clients might have in common as compared to all of the other hospitals around the US. We'll have access to all kinds of volume, demographic, and other financial information to use in this comparison. What would be the best tool to have the system try to suggest where there might be a disproportionate amount of hospitals that have xyz characteristic in the 60 existing clients as compared to the rest of the US? I have access to IBM Cognos, Tableau and even a free trial of Watson. I just would rather not go through all 200 characteristics of all potential hospital clients one by one manually in order to stumble into one that might be a key attribute we can use to target other similar clients for sales efforts.

Need to know if its possible in SAP Plant Maintenance to do a manual call on just ONE maintenance item # on a multi-item maintenance plan. For example, I have a maintenance plan # 1001 that has 99 task list items on it, varying in intervals from daily to annually, and one of those task lists maint items is # 567, I want to manually call just that 567 item to generate a work order tomorrow. I know if I were to create a maintenance plan for every task list, this would not be a problem, but my maintenance plans have many task lists on them and I cannot figure out how to manually call just ONE of them and not any others on that maintenance plan.

Hi all,

We are about to sign a contract with a vendor to implement Cloud SaaS ERP system for our University whcih costs around 180,000 and yearly fee of $70,000.  As the contract does not contain any phrase that would protect me from the followings below.  Is there any way to push the vendor to include these conditions below, "Which I believe it is difficult to achieve"?

-  Delay damage: There is nothing mentioned that would penalize the vendor for a certain amount per day if the project was not complete on time.
-  There is nothing that would protect me from getting my money back if the implementation was not successful.  Therefore, we had to terminate to contract.  Those payment are, SaaS license that is played in advance, data migration, training and other costs.
-  All these payments are don without performing security check, Bank guarantee.

NOT a FIELD LABEL. Can an existing default field name be renamed or do I have to create a custom field only...?

I ask because I need to change the TASK Table in Salesforce but there is no way to add a new Custom Field in the TASK Table in the Object Manager. See image.

Note the NEW custom field button is not available
If there is a way to do this please tell me how? Thank you.

Here in another table you can see a NEW custom field button is available. My problem is it looks like I am going to need to change the types and or names of some of the fields in the TAST Table in order for it to work.

New Button is available under CONTACT Table....Why not the TASK

We are working with Dynamics 365 CRM (on-premise) and using a custom front-end developed with ADX.  

My issue is that ADX allows a CRM quote or order to be shared with the same user more than once.  When this is done, we receive an error message: "Cannot insert duplicate key."  (It is my understanding that this is the default Dynamics error).

What I want to do is replace this with a more user-friendly message like: "This order has been already shared with that sales person".

I am looking for the best approach to transform the default error message to the user-friendly message.

I'm trying to find the most accurate job description to describe a job but would like a little feedback.

The job position has traditionally been called 'Cloud Solution Architect' but I think that Solution Architect is more traditionally a sales or sales engineering based role.  This one would be more of an 'Engineer in charge of design and set up of a customer environment' which would include designing and creating an environment of web servers, database servers, file servers, and RDS server engineering to make applications compatible with terminal services and how users will be accessing.

I think 'Solution Engineer' may be more apt, or 'Infrastructure Designer'?  Not looking for an artisian name, just something that accurately describes what the job entails without brining in recruiters or resumes that are sales based as this is more of a Virtualization/Windows Admin position.
