After logging into your account, you can click on your profile’s avatar in the top right corner. This will prompt a drop down menu, at the bottom of which is the “Billing” page. Our free trial gives you 7 days of access to all aspects of the Experts Exchange website before you are charged. You can cancel your subscription at any time during your free trial. If you do not cancel your subscription before the end of the 7-day free trial, you will be charged according to the payment plan you selected during the signup process. Additionally, you will be made aware of your charge date (the end of your trial) during the signup process.
After logging into your account, click on your profile’s avatar in the top right corner. Click "Settings" in the drop down menu. From here, you will directed to the Account tab, where you will be able to update your password by clicking "Change Password." Your new password must be 8+ characters and contain at least one letter, one number, and one symbol. Make sure to click "Save" after you have created your new password.

To post a question, simply click the button at the top of our website labeled “Ask a Question.” You will be prompted to select the type of question you are asking—troubleshooting, research, or advice. From there, you will be able to formulate your question and post it to the site.
Post a question describing your problem, technology environment, and any troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried. If it is coding or web development, code snippets and specific descriptions are very helpful! Be sure you identify the topics associated with your question, so that experts in those areas are alerted of the question.
After you have successfully asked your question, remember to stay engaged. You will receive emails and on-site notifications each time someone comments on your question, making it easy for you to monitor activity. However, it’s important to remain involved and respond to comments to help collaborators provide a solution.

Request help. If you haven't received any engagement with your question, or if there are any behavioral issues taking place in your question thread, you can click the "Request Help" button below your question. This will contact our team of moderators who can help bring more attention to your question or address any behavioral issues.
Ring the Help Bell. If your question goes without a comment for over 24 hours, or if there is any behavioral issue taking place on your question, use the blue Help Bell right away to get help from a Moderator. The blue Help Bell is to the right of your question title.
If your question has not already been solved, you can request to have your question deleted by clicking the “Delete Question” button on the bottom of your question. If there are no comments from contributors on that question, it will be deleted immediately. If there are any comments from contributors, your question will be put into a review cycle before deletion. This review cycle is a 4 day window that allows any contributors to “object” to the question being deleted if they feel they have contributed enough information to form a solution. If your question is solved, but you would like for your question to be edited or deleted, you can contact a Moderator by clicking the “Request Help” button.
