Is there a free, web-based solution similar to Hootsuite that will allow me to schedule regular posts to Facebook Marketplace via my Facebook profile as opposed to a page or group? Facebook allows me to post manually but not on a schedule.

I do have a website where I could host something that does it if free is not an option at Hootsuite.

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I have a family member that has a Facebook account directed to serious stuff (family matters, beliefs, teamwork, etc.).  Some days ago a TicToc entry appeared with vulgar language; not what she is promoting.

I understand that anyone who logs on can enter anything they want but she said that her pc person told her that it was Facebook that randomly enters these types of links or entires like that no matter what.  The only thing she can is inform Facebook, that entry stays.

My question is:
- does Facebook send random entries vulgar like that to Facebook accounts not related to that type of entries?
- is there a way to delete the entry?
- is there a way to control the type of info that can be written on the board?

Thank u!

Hi, whenever I add a link from https://magickitchen.com to facebook, the image FB wants to use is this one. https://www.magickitchen.com/cart/img/cart/animated_ellipsis.gif

So I always see this:

Capture.JPG
Is there a way I can tag that image so it never appears as an option on Facebook? Because sometimes I forget to choose another image, and that ugly thing remains.

Hi all !
From the Facebook developer settings page, according to them, it is possible to recover some social data.
Except that, apart from
id, name, email, first_name, last_name
, nothing works.
So I have my ID, my name, my first names, my full name ... neither gender, nor birth, nor the website ... nothing works!

do you have an idea please?

I am a relatively new user of Facebook Messenger and have some questions about the implications of various options.  I recently had a conversation with a 3rd party (who is not a friend on Facebook) that I would like to permanently delete from both his and my message history.  From what I understand, it is only technically possible to delete messages sent within 10 minutes of the time the message was sent.  This conversation thread lasted several days and is a few days old so this option is not available.  I understand the reason FB limits the time frame to delete messages on both sides - so that there is proof in case of cyber-bullying.  I can assure you that none of the messages are abusive in any way.  There is the potential that the other party could use the messages in an abusive way in the future, which is why I wish to erase it on both sides.  I realize that the other guy could have taken screen shots or other copies of the message string that I would have no control over.

I found the following posted online and wanted to hear from experienced Messenger users whether or not this would work and what the other guy would see if I followed these steps:

Step 1. Mark all the message I sent him as "Spam" or "Abuse" (leaning towards SPAM).
Step 2. Delete all these messages on Facebook from my side manually.
Step 3. Deactivate my Facebook account through general settings.
Step 4. Reactivate my account after few hours.

Q1) Would this delete the messages I sent from …

Hi,

I have a friend that wants to make a website for social purposes, like helping other girls going thru similar social situation as hers; like support group of some sort.  I told her that she should consider opening a page in  facebook or a channel in youtube or a blog so she can write what she wants and get feedback.  I would like to know u guys advice on this topic.

  • Should she start now getting a domain, a website, developing etc. or start with facebook and from there go tom other areas opening up pages?
  • What blog services out there free?
  • Beside facebook or youtube, what other social media tools should she look into?

We got a Facebook friend request. We want to know the setting so we can see who they are = the most recent friend request. All we see are the many who have requested and not in chronological order. Thanks.

I am looking to build a Local audience centered around health and have started the group pictured below on Facebook.

When I went to share the group with a friend that is new to social media, and not on Facebook, and to my surprise I could not.

Since I am also new to using social media myself really, I am a little lost here.

This inability to share with a non-Facebook audience might render Facebook a poor option for this.

Is there any way to share it?  If not, what might be a better social media choice?

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Shortcuts on the left side. I posted a comment on a group that violated one of their rules. The post was removed and looking at the shortcut list, it looked like we had been removed from the group. Not so as it turns up at the bottom of the short cut list. Setting to re-arrange those? I tried dragging and that failed.

A friend sent me a hoax warning not to accept Facebook friend requests from Andrea Wilson. That it could cause trouble:

"Please tell all the contacts in your messenger list not to accept friendship request from Andrea Wilson . She is a hacker and has the system connected to your Facebook account. If one of your contacts accepts it, you will also be hacked, so make sure that all your friends know it. Thanks."

However, two other friends told me it was a hoax and I found two links that SEEM to indicate they're correct:

(Search on "Andrea")

Based on the below can I rest assured the original msg I received is a hoax? Thanks.

I need an online CRM with no "monthly" subscription.

I have contacts in Google in Facebook, Instagram, etc.

How do I link them together so that I can view, manage, sort, and filter them from a single tool?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the impact of verifying a domain in Facebook through business manager. I am conscious of other negative effects of verifying my domain such as impacting users who have registered a facebook account under the same domain. I need to ensure there is no impact for them, thanks,

Despite many hours of searching, I can't seem to find a cause for this behaviour and it's driving me nuts, so I'm hoping some other experts can weigh in with a solution.

When posting on Facebook, I expect and usually get the following comment box:

FB Comment Box with Camera Icon
Then for no apparent reason that I've been able to determine, the comment box turns into the following:

FB Comment Box with No Camera Icon
What the hell? It doesn't seem to be browser-specific as I've noted it happens in Google Chrome, Brave, Avast Secure Browser, Internet Explorer, and FireFox. (Yeah I know, but I'm testing a lot of browsers for a future article) :)

There seems to be no particular pattern to "when" it happens - it just seems to happen at random times for no particular reason.

Refreshing the browser doesn't help. Closing the browser completely and opening it again often resolves the problem.

But even when it occurs and I don't close the browser, I can open a new tab, go to another facebook page (say my own Facebook page) and the camera icon is there and can be used. (?!)

I've disabled all extensions and still had it occur.

The camera icon is needed to be able to attach a photo into a comment that is saved on the hard drive.

I dislike being beaten, but I'm at a loss here. Help! :)

Has anyone found the cause of this and how to stop it happening?

Cheers.

Is there a free software out there that allows you to post items to LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter all at once without having to go into each one to post something?

We have  a need to track conversions using two Facebook pixels on our ecommerce site.  Would we be ok to include two pixel codes as per below?

<script>

  {if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod?
  n.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments)};
  if(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n;n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';
  n.queue=[];t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0;
  t.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0];
  s.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)}(window, document,'script',

What is the best practice for an company that has a staff responsible uploading contents? That is, is there a filter first? Is there a process to validate? Do the staff (or personnel) has a script or steps?, etc.  Does someone in expert exchange has some experience insight on how to best go about this?

Thank u.

A couple days ago which is a long time on Facebook when we clicked on "home" someone had posted a short description of two good places to fish in our county. There were no photos only a description. Any way to search FB to locate these comments? Thanks.
Even today when we click on home and if we click on home even a couple minutes later we get a totally different list of items.

Up to the other day Facebook, on a friends Facebook page, offered us translation for each individual comment or all comments. Now we don't get that option. Where are the settings for that? Thanks.

I'm trying to create a facebook ad. I think I have everything done, but I cannot set a payment method. You would think that would be the easiest thing since they want money.

When I click Payments in the Business Settings menu, it shows this: "No ad accounts have been connected to this payment method. To connect an ad account to this payment method, please select an ad account and use Ads Manager to change its primary payment method."

Using the Ad's manager, I click Ad's, select the one I want & go to Ad's Manager there is nothing about payment methods. In addition, the Audience section is now gone, I know from struggling with this most of the day that when I figure out how to get that back, everything I put in there will be gone.

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks
