I'm trying to get a text thread (with someone with a droid? their text bubbles are green) off an iphone. Yes, we can do screen captures of each page.  that's tedious and kinda long.

I looked on line and played with ifunbox and a couple other apps / iphone file browsers (phone is NOT jailbroken (is that a thing these days)).

None of those were successful / I didn't even know where to look for the thread.

But one - ibackup viewer has a free and paid version. Using the free version, it had me backup the phone with itunes then it read the backup file and easily let me export the thread as text - cute that it right and left justified the text from each person like it shows on the phone. And each was time stampld..

it also lets you export the conversation as a PDF with colored text bubbles. Very nice!!!.. but the free version says 'demo' all over it. Understandable. Lets you try the product and if you need that feature, you buy the app.

But anyone know of other apps that will do this (pull off conversation as text or even better as PDFs / more graphical). Free or paid.  Just want to know if I was using the free apps wrong or there's more fully featured paid apps before I lay out $$

I have the following:
Windows 7 PC running iCloud
Windows 8 laptop running iCloud
Apple iPad
Apple iPhone

When I create an event in the calendar on the PC it synchronises with the other devices but when I create an event in the calendar on any of the devices apart from the PC it synchronises with all except the PC. It appears that the PC can send events to iCloud but cannot receive them.
Hello Experts,

Can someone let me know of any iPhone Apps that will allow me record conversations?

A number of years ago I decided I had to try an iPhone at least once. So, I purchased a 5S. I'm an avid cyclist and carry my phone with me during rides. It fits neatly in the middle jersey pocket, where it stays unless I need it.

During a recent ride my phone rang, so I pulled over to the side of the road to answer it. I didn't reach the phone in time, so I had to use the callback button. At the end of the call I tried hanging up, but was reminded that, more often than not, I'm unable to do so. What usually happens is that, at the end of a call, the screen starts flashing – which prevents me from accessing the hang-up button. Well, that's exactly what happened this time. I placed the phone back in my jersey pocket and continued my ride without giving it another thought.

A couple of hours later I heard talking coming from my iPhone. As I listened, I realized it was dictating instructions on what to do in the event I wanted to leave a message. I surmised that somehow a call had been initiated to a number which had redirected me to voicemail. Keep in mind that I had not touched the phone! I chose to ignore the phone and continue my ride.

When I finished the ride I got back in my car, where I expected the phone to automatically connect via Bluetooth. It wasn't until I tried to initiate a call that I discovered the phone had not connected. I assumed that the battery was depleted. Once I got home, my suspicion was confirmed.

I still have "landline" service from AT&T. …
We have HP 810 G3 laptops running Windows 7 and it previously connected fine to an Android phone hotspot, the user now has an iPhone 6s and the laptop see's the hotspot but will not connect. AnyConnect version is 3.1.14018

Any ideas?
A colleague indicated that he prefers iPhone over android phone because the iPhone is entirely encrypted and all apps download from the Apple store passes thru rigorous process prior being placed on the store.  On the other hand, android phone are not encrypted and you can download apps from anywhere, besides the store; in other words there is little control as to the google store apps as to security.  Finally all who developed apps for iPhone have to pay an anual fee to Apple where as to android no fee - insinuating at one point that a hacker can create an apps load it to google store and all can download it; thus being able to reach millions with ease.

Is there any accuracy to this persons comment? Please advice.
I am developing an iOS phone app to display contact information for a large organisation.
Contact information consists of several data types (classes) and includes images.
The phone app uses core data to store this information locally.

This information will be shared across all users of the application but there is also a requirement to store additional information locally that is not shared (favourite contacts).

There is a requirement that some people will have permission to update the contact information and that this will be distributed to all users of the application.

We require a cloud server to store the central data and to distribute updates to all users of the application.

The question is:

Which cloud environment will be the best fit?  We are considering Microsoft Azure and Apple CloudKit (public database) with the following design considerations as we see them.

Develop web site and database.
Provide admin module for updating of contact information.
Use web service to transfer data to devices.

Challenges with Azure
Need to identify changes and notify uses of changes.
Transferring cloud data to local storage.  How to identify what data has changed?
Security - How to ensure only authorised users of app can connect to cloud server.
Not sure how to transfer images to phone application - is this a showstopper or can this be done?
Requires extensive calls to web service to deserialize data from XML or JSON
a bit expensive

Should I buy iPhone that is twice as much expensive than Samsung (with the same functions from my point of view) while I just need to call, text, browse the Internet and take photos?
iPhone X is futuristic, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are unnecessary

Apple unveiled iPhone X, its first premium-tier phone, at an event in Cupertino, Calif., on Tuesday. Here is everything you want to learn about iPhone X (pronounced ‘10’ not ‘ex’) and iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. https://goo.gl/FejBrS

I agree that the iPhone X is much more futuristic and awesome than the 8, but the 8 is hardly unnecessary. It costs a decent amount less and is still a great smartphone! If Apple only sold the iPhone X, they'd be cutting out a lot of potential customers that aren't willing to spend that much.
we are using Airwatch to push the certoficate and it installs successfully. for some users we get the error “Cannot get email, connection to the server failed” , Same account works fine if we add the account manually. We are on O365. This issue gets fixed automatically but after few days comes up for new users. Any help will be appreciated.
Hello Community,

I'm in the process of configuring point-to-site connection. The company wishes to connect to resources in Azure via mobile devices, e.g. iPhone, Android, Windows mobile phone.

At the moment, I can only find information on P2S Connection with laptops.

Can someone provide information regarding P2S information with mobile devices?

We want to know how can we, within our iphone, can copy o move files from one google drive account to another.  We have an iPhone 7 plus IOS 11.0.2.
I have an iphone 5, which specs say has an 8 megapixel camera.  I've taken thousands of photos on it, but just now have started trying to print some of them.  I'm using walmart.com to print online and send to me.  their photo processing app says the max print size is 4"x6" based on the quality of the photos. they are all about 500 kb size, which seems small for an 8 mp photo, also I think a 8 mp should be able to make a quality print of at least 8" x 10".  I don't see any setting to adjust photo quality, file size, mps, dpi or anything else on the phone.  Any ideas on how to maximize the photo quality to get larger prints?
the phone is set to Optimize iPhone Storage, which says it stores full-size images in icloud, however, the files are same size and quality in icloud as on the phone.

Out of nowhere and all at once, a batch of appointments the user created in Outlook 2016 via Exchange Server 2010 SP3 were cancelled with no user intervention. A cancellation email was sent to those invited and the appointment was removed from Outlook Calendar. I cannot find a common thread in the appointments that were "automatically" cancelled, and many appointments, including some of the same type (meeting organizer inviting others) were not cancelled.

This has happened to the same user twice within three weeks. There is no report of this happening to any other user. Has anyone experienced this phenomena, or have any clue where I should look? I wrote off the first occurrence, but if this is recurring, I need to ferret it out.

More info: User has an iPhone connected to Exchange. The iPhone now has zero future appointments on it! (Outlook still contains many future appointments that are absent from the iPhone.) This leads me to suspect something is happening at the iPhone.

Thank you.
I HATE ios v11 and want to downgrade to 10.3.
How can I do this?

One of our company iPhone users (User 1) has a problem where he cannot call or text some other iPhone users (User 2) in our company.  When he calls User 2, it goes right to their voice mail and never rings on the User 2's phone.  When he texts User 2, it show that it is delivered on User 1's phone, but User 2 never receives the text.

There have been times when User 1 sends User 2 a text, he receives it and he replies, but User 2 never receives his reply.  The text conversation is recorded on User 1's phone, but User 2 never gets his replies.

Neither user is on a block list.  What could be disrupting both text and calls between these users?
I went in to Outlook 2013 today to find all my contacts and calendar events were gone. Somehow they have gotten moved to iCloud. I have tried to reverse this process but now my iCloud contacts are doubled and even if I export from iCloud and import to Outlook all I ever get is the first contact even though if I open the vcf file using Notepad I can see all the contacts, How do I correct this mess?
On my Outlook 2013jwith exchange 2010,  I have others shared calendars.
On my iPhone I have used TeamCal to see the other calendars.
Since I upgraded to IOS11  the app doesn't work and they say no updates are going to come out.
I'm looking for a replacement to this app..  Any suggestions??
It is amazing this is not obvious.

I have a iPhone 6; someone sent me a message with an image attached. I want to get the image off & store where all the other images are so I can use it in a document.

I look on Google. First step is "Open the text conversation with the image in the Messages app.". I have NO CLUE what that means, there is no "text conversation".

Remember when Apple products were intuitive & easy to use? Those days are LONG gone.

How do I do the obvious task?
Dear EE experts,

We would like to ask if this is possible, How to create icon on home screen of iPhone/iPad?
Using Google App or Chrome App, and NOT Safari.
Because the website that we want to use doesn't work well with Safari...

Thank you!
