Background:
Exchange 2016 On-prem
IBM MaaS360 (MDM and Mail Client)
iPhone 8

Issue:
One of my C-suites is "requesting" (aka requirement) that we be able to browse the entire history via phone.  We currently have MaaS360 Secure Mail which holds up to two weeks of emails but this c-suite was trying to browse for mail that was from several months ago.  The C-suite then showed me the personal iPhone (Yahoo mail via POP/IMAP) and said that they can view years worth of email by just scrolling.  I argued that the email is just being downloaded to the phone so that the phone can search/browse/list.  Not really an answer so that didn't go too well.

I'm not sure if there's anything out there that helps us in this situation?  I did try looking/downloading the MS Outlook iOS mail app to the phone.  When browsing through the Inbox folder, it does stop and say "Load more convo" which doesn't really work.  Using webmail (OWA on the phone) works but isn't a permanent solution.

Our current mail client, Maas360's Secure Mail, has some issues -- searching capabilities (really) sucks but Secure Mail does leverage some enterprise features (additional mailboxes, calendars, tasks) that some other mail clients can't support.  Also allows for BYOD.  The really bad side of MaaS360 is that support is terrible (IBM).

Any ideas or suggestions (minus bringing back old BES servers) would be very helpful.  Thanks in advance!

Are there currently any Bluetooth or other keyboards available that allow typing directly onto an iPhone X?

I have a user who often has to type detailed emails or texts into his iPhone and is interested in purchasing a keyboard that will allow him to do this especially since the voice transcription service isn't entirely accurate.

Is it possible to write an iPhone App ( and/or an Android phone App ) which acts as an "Access Point" -- that is, it transmits its own Wifi network.  For example, then a nearby PC could connect to that wifi network and receive images sent from the iPhone?

I'm not sure if the term "Hot Spot" is the same as what I call an "Access Point" -- perhaps it is the same.

Reason: I want to make an App to transmit directly from iPhone to a nearby PC (without the need for any outside wifi network, and without the need for an internet connection).  I have an App now to do this, but it relies on the PC to run 'hosted network' to create the wifi network.  Unfortunately, many PCs have wifi cards that are not up to do this, so essentially my App only works with certain PCs -- which is not cool.  Or we have to add a USB mini-router to the mix, which would seem simple, but its just enough of a hassle to turn off my users.

The correct technical solution is probably to have the iPhone create the network -- if this is possible -- and if it is "allowed",   I saw some information once that implied that while this is technically possible, it may be that your service provider may be able to limit whether or not your smartphone is able to act as an "Access Point" (or "Hot Spot" -- if the same).

Thanks if you can shed light on the possibilities.

What is the process for setting up an Office 365 shared email account within the built-in mail app on an iPhone?

The user who will be setting up this app already has full rights to both this shared email account and full rights to send emails directly from this shared email account.

This shared email account automatically appears within Outlook 2016 on this user's Windows 10 computer.

What is the process for setting up this shared email account within the built-in mail app on an iPhone?

Without making a short story long, how can I delete all the music from my iPhone 7 & start over?
Apparently, Apple is a firm believer of the 'if it works, why not fix it' philosophy...

how can I tell if iphone 8 on ebay is fake.

Do I just look at feedback rating of seller.
If seller has more than 1000 feedback then phone is probably real.

I am trying to copy photos taken with my iPhone 6 Plus onto my Windows 10 computer.  The photos/videos show up fine on my phone, but when I go to the iPhone "Internal Storage" folder it shows the folder is empty.  This is how I've always transferred my photos.  Where are my photos?

Thanks,

Phil

Phone calls my number for a brief second but stops right away before connection is made. May be related to app access or microphone access within an app, or alerts like txt or voicemail. No record of call in recent calls. Has anyone else experienced this? Iphone 6 connecting to BMW connected drive, but my wife has similar problem with different car so I am thinking it must be phone settings.
Thank you for any ideas.

Making a cross platform Forms App for Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android

I just installed .NET CORE for Mac and selected Project > New Solution but was surprised to not find an option for Windows. iOS is iPhone and Mac, true?

Anyway, do I build the entire app once for these four platforms? Or do I build common objects and need to create custom UI's for the mobile side with Xamarin?

Thanks

ebay lists iphone8 64g for verizon $516-$700

verizon wireless united states store sells for $900 (total after hidden fees/taxes)

Yes it is better to pay monthly for 2 years.

Only other benefit is 1 year warranty. If something happens to phone from verizon store; it gets replaced

$900-$516=$386

Could I buy ebay phone and buy a warranty for cheaper than $386

Hi,  I use 1Password from Agilekeychain.  On My IOS 11 devices and on my Sierra 10.12.6 1Password was configured to use Dropbox as a sync destination.   iOS 11 upgrade changed that to iCloud.  How do I change it back so my syncs will work between my MacBook Pro and my iPhone and iPad.

Thanks,
Howie

Blackberry to iPhone data transfer.   I need to transfer Pictures, Text messages ( that go back to 2013) and anything else saved on a Blackberry to a iPhone 5S.  The blackberry is running OS 10.  Is there a software that can help do this?  I dont mind paying a small fee.

my friend has an iphone 6 that when you power it on, it simply reads 'iphone is disabled' - connect to itunes'. I have plugged it into a windows machine and it loads the 'internal storage' of the device (quoting approx 1GB of 60GB free), yet when I click the 'internal storage' drive, nothing loads up. They are not overly fussed about getting the device to work just to salvage any photos files from storage. I am guessing the fact that windows can recognise the device and list the internal storage is a good sign from a hardware fault perspective, but I cannot see any files when I click internal storage. What can be done to view and copy off the contents of internal storage in this situation? I dont have the machine they may or may not of used to sync with itunes, although I could install itunes a fresh on my own windows machine and go from there... all I really need to do is copy the files from internal storage through whatever means.

We use whatapps and are always deleting the movies and video that we received.  We do this so we don't jump the 5gb limit in iCloud.  However, this morning the iCloud was in 500mb available.  When searching what apps as taking up, it was whatapps with 3.5gb as the largest.

The question is, if we delete videos contents in whatapps, it should also reduce the backup area in iCloud? (say, whatapps backup in icloud is 3.5gb, so we delete the device videos that sum up 2 gb, the next time it back up whatapps, the backup area in iCloud for whatapps should read 1.5gb)

Are we correct in this?  Besides buying more space in iCloud, what can we do to reduce this space? Can we find the Biggest Chats in WhatsApp and clean it up?

Please advice.

I recently upgraded a user's iPhone from the 6 to the 8 and he pointed out that while all the main stuff transferred over fine, the autocomplete/recent history for e-mail addresses didn't but was something he used frequently. (I transferred via itunes backup.) I can't find much on this online to see if it's possible to bring this over. He doesn't even have iCloud set up, which is what I saw mentioned a few times. Any thoughts?
