Hi,

Our iPad and iPhone safari bookmark are not syncing.  Yet we can each other recent tabs (it seems as that part is syncing).

How can we sync safari bookmark on these 2 devices (latest iOS version both)

How can a user's contacts contained on an iPhone be backed up?

This user doesn't want to use iTunes for the backup so what other options can be used?

My iPhone is linked to my Exchange account so all my contacts are synced with Exchange. I don't use iCloud contacts at all.

Yesterday I installed and ran the OWA app on my phone and now all of my contacts are duplicated on my phone. If I go into any contact, I see that at the bottom there is a LINKED CONTACTS section with two entries: iPhone and Exchange.

The iPhone ones all have this note:

"This contact information was synchronized from Exchange. If you want to change the contact information, please open OWA and make changes there."

Regrettably, that note is also what shows up on the main screen of every contact, too.

Is there a way to delete all the iPhone copies so I have only the Exchange version of the contact again?

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know about iTalk?

i recorded some choral performances by my choir with iTalk on my iPhone 5E, and would now like to move the files from my iPhone to a PC for editing and distribution.  But I can't find the files on my phone, and googling iTalk doesn't bring up any useful information.

Anyone know what to do?

Client has just traded in their BMW.  Their iPhone was paired with the car by Bluetooth.

How do we make sure that all the private data, contact information, navigation history, is securely removed from the car?

Thanks.

How can we sync Tasks/Reminders time entered when creating an entry either in the computer  (via https://www.icloud.com/#reminders) or the  iPhone (v7 plus IOS  10.3.3).  The problem I am having when creating a task in the iPhone for 1am and when checking the computer it says 2am.  If we  create the task in the computer for 1am the iphone is register as 12am.  We are assuming its a Region issue - if we check the computer, it says Time Zone 'UTC-06:00) Central America' and  the iPhone only is "Set Automatically".  What we need is that whether a task/reminder is created, it should have the same date/time in both devices.

My parents are both on t-mobile and both have iPhone 5s.
Occasionally their voicemails come few hours late.  Text messages are even worse.  Once I reboot one of their phones and received a dozen of texts messages from two weeks ago.

Is that an issue with t-mobile network or something else?  This is in US.
Thanks.

For some strange reason a task that was super simple, just some clicks and done, has become a headache: incomplete iCloud restore.

We have backed up our iPhone 7 Plus (latest iOS) via the cloud, not iTunes.  Then opened up a new iPhone and did a iCloud restore.

When done, missing apps like whatapps, Viber, etc. and most important, all the emails are missing.  The strangest thing is that the usual iCloud restore we do, we see the apps being download and the emails "number" increasing; hence a proper restored from iCloud.

Please advice what may be going on and how to fix.

I've recently installed and fully configured a 2013 Exchange server. We initially tested Activesync with the server and had it work perfectly on both an Android and iPhone. We had some complications with some other things after, and since then we haven't been able to connect mobile devices to the email accounts.

I ran the test at https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com and this is the results.

Issue being that this is not Exchange 2013, but seems to be similar in issue. Anyone know steps to take to correct this?

So my phone stopped working the other day, it just kept booting up to the apple logo and then rebooting. now I have it in recovery mode (itunes logo appears) and it won't do anything with itunes. I keep getting random errors (originally it was 2001, but the more I mess with it, it get 21, 4015, 2025, really random errors) I feel that this has to do with me being a beta tester and it derped since my phone is the last supported one. So I have a question: since it is completely gone: is there anyway, in other expertise, to downgrade it to an iOS 9 and redo it from there? OR I have alway fantasized putting linux on an iPhone. I've looked up youtube tutorials, and it's all VMWare, or Teamviewer, or VNC. I want to completely wipe it and put a Linux Flavour on it. what ya'll think?

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Every time my iPhone connects to a Bluetooth audio device, Music starts playing. Every "solution" I have found online is not a solution. Even Apple Support thought they had it figured out, but the music still comes on. Does anyone truly know how to stop this or is it a bug and cannot be solved? Thanks.

The share option often doesn't have my standard location available.  As result I have my files spread over everywhere as I use what is available on the share menu.

I would like to standardize on where I store my files, I currently have Evernote, Microsoft OneNote, Qfile a QNAP NAS Utility,  Dropbox, Box, Google Drive,  sometimes the iOS mail shows up in other times it’s just the Gmail app.

I’ve checked the “More” menu and unfortunately the app I want to use is not included there either.

I am thinking about standardizing on Dropbox but if it often doesn’t show as an option it kind of defeats the purpose.

I have tried nightly to round up the information that I’ve spread around during the day and move it into my standard location but that is quite a pain.

How do you store documents in the cloud and yet make them encrypted such that everybody can get to them,  iOS, Mac, Windows PC, Browser Window.

Cloud Mounter on the MAC has the option to mount most cloud services with Encryption but I a not sure how you would access the file from an iPhone or PC.

A friend of mine is an Android user.  In the past, I could use Messages on my iPhone and Mac to text message them.  The outline of the messages with them would be green (which usually indicates they're a non iPhone user).

A recent update on my Macbook have suddenly made it not possible for me to get texts from my friend.  I still get texts on my iPhone, but they are not showing up in Messages anymore on my Macbook.

How do I turn this back on?

I have the situation in the question title.

I have been told I have too many apps running. I was told I should close apps.

Of course, I have no idea how to do that.

Can someone advise, is it that or something else?

Thanks

I need to import the following fields from my .csv file into my iPhone 6s contacts:
First Name, Last Name, Company, Notes, Email, cell phone, phone, city, province (state)

I've googled this and it seems possible using the following steps:
.csv --> Google Contacts --> vcard --> iphone   or
.csv --> Outlook --> iTunes --> iphone

In either case, I'd love a detailed procedure.

Anybody who's actually done this before?

Thanks

Have an issue where some recipients, and they're recipients at like @sbcglobal.net or @aol.com, cannot receive calendar invites from senders of our Exchange 2010 server.
We have played with all the HTML format e-mail settings and still the same results.
Other recipients on the invitation will receive it just fine, although they are on different e-mail systems respectively.
Is this really likely an Exchange issue, or something on sbcgloval or AOL's end?
The recipients in question too appear to just be using their phone for e-mail, so I'm wondering if it's converting the attachments upon receipt.
I've even created Att.net and sent an invite to myself and it came through as an ics in the webmail, but I was able to open it, so I'm not able to re-create it.
For AOL test account, I don't even see an invite or winmail.dat come through for that matter.

A client can access his iCloud email from his iPhone and logging on thru his Apple Id online but cannot thru Outlook 2010 or Windows 10 mail since the middle of June. Should his iCloud and his Apple ID password be the same or not necessarily? Is there a way to retrieve his iCloud email password from his iPhone or Apple account? He is using a Dell and Microsoft Surface with Windows 10.
Thanks,
Mags

I have a Wordpress site with WooCommerce and have my entire store working for PDF download, after purchase.

My WooCommerce emails out a URL to the PDF file for download. But I need to give mobile users the option of using Dropbox.

How do I do this?

Is this a WordPress plug-in? Or an option / plug-in for WooCommerce?

Thanks

I have a book on PDF which I expect to be about 500 MB in size. Far too big to email to the buyer, after purchase via PayPal. I will sell the PDF on my WordPress website.

Can I sell a PDF to an iPhone user?

I have no interest in diving back into being an Apple Developer at the moment, but will do so if people show an interest in my book. But, with my book selling on my website, are buyers forced to download the PDF on their PC's? And does this mean they must use Dropbox (for example) as a way to read the book on their iPhones?

I am curious.

Thanks.

Hi,

We backed up the old Iphone using ICloud but when we restore to the new phone more than half the apps are missing. Originally it will show the Icons of all the apps but when finished only about half of the 100+ apps is still there. Can anyone tell me if we do anything wrong. Most of them cannot be found on the app store when searching so I am not sure how the apps was installed.

Thanks
Albert
