Hi folks,

I have an InfoPath form that does not open in the SharePoint library anymore, due to the trusted certificate expiring.  I have generated a new certificate in infoPath but it states the CA route certificate is not trusted and must be added to the Trusted root cert authorities store.  This form is on an old windows 2003 server.  How do I do this so I can republish the form with the new certificate so suers can open it?

Many thanks
How do I run a Powershell command/script that calls a javascript file (stored in a folder within the main site). The powershell command/script should only apply to 1 specific site collection.

in particular, I found this script online but I can't make out how to run it:

Write-Host "Upload RemoveGearIcon.js"
$f = Add-PnPFile -Path .\RemoveGearIcon.js -Folder "scripts"
$site = Get-PnPSite
$fileUrl = $site.Url + "/Scripts/RemoveGearIcon.js"
Write-Host "Add JavaScript Link"
$jsLink = Get-PnPJavaScriptLink -Name "RemoveGearIcon" -Scope Site
if ($jsLink -ne $null)
Remove-PnPJavaScriptLink -Identity "RemoveGearIcon" -Scope Site -Force
$link = Add-PnPJavaScriptLink -Name "RemoveGearIcon" -Url $fileUrl -Sequence 200 -Scope Site

We have sharepoint 2013 environment. Recently our sharepoint went down. After contacting Microsoft we found the root cause. It was because of  one sharepoint list which has more than 5000 records and it workflow attached for item level permission. It blocked some query in content database.

We would like to create the powershell script to generate some reports.
1 All the Large list (>5000 items) or lists with more than unique permissions.
2. Report of all the lists where the throttling has been disabled.

Can you please help me?
I trying to familiarize myself with Powershell PnPOnline in particular

Get-PnPListItem -List Requests -Fields "Title", "GUID","RequestStatus","RequestStatusName"

I am running this script and it is getting results but it only showing the same 3 fields (ID, Title, GUID), no matter what other fields include in the parameters.

Any idea if I am doing something wrong? with the syntax?
I know I had configured a way to remotely connect to our Office 365 SharePoint environment through our AWS server last year using Powershell. For some reason I have not been able to find the correct information to do this again.

I have at least one very large Sharepoint list that I would like to delete specific records from with certain criteria in one of the fields and I need to schedule this with some type of Powershell script.

I have an SA account that is logged into the AWS environment that has an O365 account and access to the list in question.

Is there a simple way to set up a script that will authenticate with some kind of token and be able to do this type of process each time on a schedule?

Any insight would be helpful

Bear with me, I have a few question regarding Sharepoint

How do you clear the everything under the "RECENTS" on the side of the page?

How do you clear the Frequent site lists in the main page?

From what I'm seeing, everyone can create their own collection in sharepoint by default and no one else can see it unless the person who created it shares it out. Which means that person who creates it is the owner and the collection/sites is tied to that person. Is there a way to create a central collection/site that is attached to no user? A default one that everyone can see when they sign into Sharepoint and the collection is tied to the Global admin group?

The modern page web parts does not allow for custom sizes, is there a way to edit the web parts so things fit better?
Environment - SharePoint 2016 On premise. Office Online Server deployed and is an option to open PDF files with word online. Adobe Reader DC (Newest version)

We sign PDF files electronically and that work fine. The issue is when a PDF file that is stored in a SharePoint document library is opened and signed, when the user goes to save the file Adobe Reader opens a Windows Explorer dialog asking the user where the file should be saved to. The SharePoint library is not mapped so it is not possible for the user to save back to SharePoint. The desired behavior, and what we had in SharePoint 2010, is that the file is saved from where is was opened, in this case a SharePoint 2016 document library. (The way office documents work when opened from SharePoint.)
So what am I missing? Why doesn't this work? Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

I am having trouble with my sharepoint 2010 on the 2008 R2 server:-

If I go to Internet Information Interchange (IIS) Manager click on Defualt site and then Defualt web site and use the browse web site *:80(http)
it says page cant be displayed same result with the one above. Using the http ones and get certificate problem, if say so anyway it points you to a
external ip address,  I think becuase the certificate its linked to the external web address it goes to which is

Please help everything else works okay apart from this, I am wondering if I have accidently done something when sorting out PCI compliance as per there instructions.

PCI compliance instructions was to stop using SSL certiificates and TLS1.1 or newer to pass their external scanning
We are testing a new VDI image with Office 2016. When a user has Sharepoint connections in Outlook normal behavior is that a PST file is created for caching Sharepoint data. Our users get frequently the message "Cannot find the file "C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Sharepoint*.pst" When we ignore this message and click OK and cancel the dialog box the PST file is created anyway. We can reproduce this issue. What could be the root cause for this issue?

Our environment
Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 VDI (non persistent)
Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus
Citrix Xendesktop 7.6
Ivanti Desktop Now 10.1
Bitdefender Best Tools

We have sharepoint 2013 with 5 Web servers with 2 Load balance (F5).  We are going to implement SSL offloading to our environment. I would like to work on some detail plan to implement on QA server first.

Can you please guide me come up with some detail plan to implement?
We have sharepoint 2013 environment and recently  we migrated some users from one domain1 to another domain2. After migration some user reported to lost access. One user migrated on 1/24 and she reported lost access on 1/28. We added back to group and again on 1/29 she reported.  We have checked the audit log and found that user id changed but did not get any clue. We requested the AD history log for Domain2 . We received the log but not able to understand.

Can you please help me to understand AD report? What is SPAccountStatus and why it's change from '0' to '1'?

Please help me
I created a form from a list using InfoPath 2013.  On the form I added that you could insert an attachment. I have published the form, opened it, filled it out and added an attachment.  The form is then sent to recipients via email.  When I open the email the attachments do not show up as a link. Is there a setting for showing the attachment as a link when sent?
Thanks in advance.
I was using the owssvr.dll? URL parameter successfully to download all of the items from a list in xml format - INCLUDING THE different versions.  Then all of a sudden yesterday the results returned NO data.

The team had made some changes to the view that was being used so not sure if that would cause an error. I can not rework the URL To produce a file that has ALL of the versions of the record again. it's like functionality has disappeared.

See the URL that was working.{29329E39-175F-435A-ADB5-D7632A1CD143}&View={EC5A3FBC-5642-4134-AA51-EFBABF521CF7}&RowLimit=0&IncludeVersions=TRUE
We have a company intranet, nothing special, that was built using the free SharePoint (Sharepoint Foundataion) 3-4 years ago.  We wanted something a little jazzier and  wound up using something else for a company intranet for the last couple of years, Jive.
We are now on Office365 and would like to bring our old intranet back to life, spruce it up, and use it again as our main company intranet.

It is still sitting on our on premises server.

Is there any software that can convert this for us up to Sharepoint online?   We would like to get it up there...spend some time updating it, then start using it again (as we continue to build it.)

Thanks for any advice/pointers/ etc. !!
I use a Word template as managed content type in a SharePoint library. Starting a new document opens in Word online but I want to start a new document in the desktop Word application because of better functionality.
I changed the setting open in client app in the library settings but it keeps on opening in Word online. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

We have users who are complaining that their PDF Icons are clear next to the filename. When they click it, it still works. It is annoying.  They are accessing their files through Parallels (RDS solution). Thanks

I have built a few PowerApps tied to SharePoint lists.  They're nice and work fairly well, however,  the "cards" which house the list columns for edit don't stay where they're placed on the form.  I have found that if I unlock them and place them that they will move (seemingly at random times).  I have looked at the snap to columns setting and really am at a loss on how to address this.

Any advice and useful links would be greatly appreciated.
I am trying to use flow to  write a copy of file from a SharePoint library to OneDrive.  I have found example(s) but they fail after a point.

  • I trigger the flow using the SharePoint When a file is created (properties only) trigger
  • I use the SharePoint Get file content (Site Address is my Site Collection URL and File Identifier is added from the dynamic content after the trigger event) It shows the expected ID for the document but fails … Note that the ID is the correct ID for that document in the SharePoint library.
  • Finally, I want to use the OneDrive Create file action to put the file in a folder (Folder Path  is a folder in on my OneDrive, FIle Name is Name from Dynamic content and File Content is the FIle Content from Dynamic content) - of course as the previous step fails so does this.

Here is the error from the Get Content:

Ok, so I got it working.  So the question is how can I pass in the Site Address, Library from and folder to save?

How can I sync folders shared on a 2016 std server to a share point online (365) library.
Here is the scenario (Office365):
  • I have a list and a powerapp that adds/updates listitems
  • I have a workflow using the SharePoint 2010 Template which writes out a word document to an associated library
  • all this works fine

Now the wrinkle:
I need to be able to clone the list, library, PowerApps and workflow, in spirit creating a set of items many times (one per building where there are many buildings).
How can I accomplish this?  I thought that perhaps I could build a site template with the set within and then create site/collections based off that per building, but then how would I do a rollup of the site/collections (a higher level view/aggregate)?

Thanks in advance.
