How can I password protect these bookmarks from editing but allow editing on all the other content

Hello Experts,

I have one docx document with some styles that I want to transfer to my Normal.dotm file.
Do you know if there is a Word VBA procedure that allows me to specify the style that I want to transfer to my Normal.dotm.

Example: SourceFile="C:\Doc" StyleName="CuztomizedStyle" TargetFile="C:\Normal.dotm.

The aim is to have CuztomizedStyle at Normal.dotm.

It would be great if I can specify multiple StyleNames, if not I will used as function and call it based on Styles number to transfer.
Example:
Sub TransferStyle(SourceFile,StyleName,TargetFile)

The final aim is to add it to my personal add-in and used whenever I want.

Hello experts,

I use add-in for PowerPoint and Excel.
I proceed like this:

For ppt:
Save my add-in (.pptm file) with .ppam extension at %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns and load it through Files=>Option

For Excel:
Save my add-in (.xlsm file) with xlam extension at %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns and load it through Files=>Option

I don't know how to proceed for Word:

I have my add-in  (.docm) but I don't know which extension should I use to save it at: %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns.

I have a document with 600 notes. Of these 400 are end notes which are numbered . The remainder (200)are also endnotes but are marked not by numbers but by asterisks.  
 
What I want to separate the asterisked references from the numbered, leaving the numbered as end notes, but converting the asterisked into footnotes.

 Is there any quick way of doing this.

This is what I am doing at present.  1. Going to an asterisked end note, copying its content, 2. Deleting the reference (asterisk) in the main text of the document,  3. Then reinserting the reference as a footnote and adding the text I have copied.

Any help appreciated to speed this up.

Here is a Macro written in C for Clipboard Fusion, a Clipboard Monitoring program, https://www.clipboardfusion.com/

What is this macro SHOULD do is remove linebreaks from copied and pasted text.  Like, for example, from PDF to Word.

So that if you have copied:

Stand alone installation of Office 2013.
Opening Word to a new blank document has a table like grid that appears to be set as an embedded background. Can't select, modify, or delete it.
I assume the Normal.dotm file was overwritten, but when I open it in Word, it IS normal, no grids, no formatting. A new blank document.
Still, open Word, and select New Blank Document, and the grid pattern is there. It seems like the default path has been changed, yet I don't know where, or how, to point Word back towards the Normal.dotm file that appears to be corruption free.
Any ideas?

Why does system time stop updating? I have a Dell Lattitude E6520 laptop and the system time (taskbar) stops updating after 4.5 hours since last time sync. Windows applications continue to run no problems or errors. To verify system time halt, I inserted the date/time in a Word doc and the date/time was also incorrect. Any suggestions as to why this is happening? is it a hardware or software problem?

I  need to set up a conditional formatting to shade cells in Col L purple for any corresponding cell in Col E that contains the word "Building".  How can i do that?  

for example
cell E6 contains the word building so shade cell L6 purple.

I have a  server Citrix Xeanapp 6.7 .one of my client works at home with her Laptop and She can open Citrix session over Netscaller.

She has a HP 404nde  Printer at home and connected USB to her laptop .She has when she log in citrix desktop seesion ,she can see Universell Printer (from laptopname), till here i think every thing is ok.

But when she open word or pdf document for printing and choose Universell Printer (from laptopname) under Citrix desktop seeion BUT NO PRINTING FROM LOCAL PRINTER AT HOME:

Hi All

I have been tasked with searching through an Ex Users PST file.

There are a number of criteria being asked, for example:
1) All Emails between the Ex User and Person X
2) All Emails between the Ex User and Person Y
3) All emails between the Ex User, Person X And Person Y talking as a group
4) Emails with the word 'Blah' in it

Is there a better way of searching through this PST file other than the Search options that come with Outlook as even the Advanced Search option does not really offer these search criteria.

Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Running Word 2007 on a Windows 7 platform, I've created calendars for this year and next year.  This year's calendar opens at a zoom of 100%, but next year's calendar appears smaller.  If I use View>Zoom 100%, it appears the same as this year's calendar.  However, that setting is not retained, and the calendar opens smaller the next time.  I'd like to know how to get next year's calendar to retain a 100% zoom.   As an aside, I know that the platform and application I am using are legacy, and I am not interested in changing that.  Thanks in advance!Different sizes for calendars

when i do thatfrom Print> paper properties>A4, it always defers back to Letter size

I can see the crop marks in my word document but I also want to print them.
How can I get MS Word to print my crop marks.

ALSO, I want Word to stop prompting me for special paper and just use 8 1/2" x 11" paper.
Eventually I'll be sending this to the printer but for the time being I"m okay with this printing out on 8 1/2  x 11 paper.

Ewarenow has 5 O365 Business Premium users.. We have Word, Excel, and PowerPoint templates developed over many years.
When I start Word (for example) and click New I see an option to click on the company name registered with Microsoft: Ewarenow LLC.

But I cannot find where and how to populate that with our templates.Desired-Location.PNGHere is where they reside now

Using Word, whenever I start the program it shows about eight or nine stock templates I can choose from:

Other than Blank, none of these are ones I'd ever need to use.

How can I replace these with ones of my own design?
