A miscellany is defined as a "collection of various pieces of writing by different authors", but it has come to mean something "Of items gathered or considered together of various types or from different sources" or "a collection or group composed of members or elements of different kinds". The word "miscellaneous" comes from the Latin word "miscere", meaning "to mix." You might have heard the expression "a mixed bag," which applies when you don't quite know what you're going to get. More commonly, a miscellaneous group is made up of an odd group of things that don't fit anywhere else.

Hello and Good Morning Everyone,

I am wondering how an Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of 26.70% be converted to a monthly rate.  Speaking hypothetically, I will put these numbers out here in order to capture or clarify my question.  An account has a balance of $500 with an APR of 26.70%. Given this information, how much interest would be added to this balance within one month?

              Thank you

              George

Free Tool: Path Explorer

An intuitive utility to help find the CSS path to UI elements on a webpage. These paths are used frequently in a variety of front-end development and QA automation tasks.

One of a set of tools we're offering as a way of saying thank you for being a part of the community.

Here's what I'm trying to work out but I don't know how to do it.
I run a lottery syndicate based on the Patent ticket method of the irish lottery.
The numbers available are between 1 and 47. The draw each week is made up of 6 numbers.
I have 5 stakes of 3 numbers each.
The patent rules are, you choose 3 numbers, you win £7 for any one of 3, you win £75 if any two come up, and you win £905 if all three come up.
Now I can't work out, if it's better or not to have a larger pool of numbers or not.
So with 5 stakes I have 15 numbers available that might come up in any one of the six drawn.
but with that the share has to be split 15 ways.
So is it better to have less numbers say 12 numbers (4 stakes) and split the winnings 12 ways, or have 18 numbers (6 stakes) and have to split the winnings 18 ways.
Hope you can get what I'm asking?

I noticed on my personal credit card that I have a recurring charge of $109.95 that will be coming up in July 31, 2018. I no longer work for the company that I was putting the charge on. How do I get my recurring charge taken off my credit card?

Thanks,

Please provide me with instructions on how to use  Cirrus Insight to record Gmail email contact info.

I'm most interested in recording people's information that is found within their email signatures such as name, job title, company name, address, phone numbers, etc.

How can Cirrus Insight be used within Google G Suite to do this?

this is a wierd question. doesn't have anything to do with Technology.

I've living in Quito Ecuador 25 years. now I'M returning to my home country of Canada. I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to sell off everything and but everything new in Canada, or if it would be worth the cost to have it shipped in a container. Probably the smallest container going. The largest item is an upright piano. No vehicle.  Shipping ultimate destination is Victoria, BC, Canada.

Does anybody have experience with this kind of thing. Just a ball park figure. Like are we talking close to $1000? or more like $10,000. Anything just to give me an idea.

Thanks!

Please provide me with instructions on how to use Sales Force to create contacts from all emails within a user's email account that extracts the contact's information (such as the contact's name, email address, phone number, address, fax number, etc.) using information that is extracted from each individual email.

This information is usually found at the bottom of the email within the sender's signature but can follow different variations as shown in these email signature examples.

I need to extract this information from each individual email and record it in a contact for each person who has emailed me.

How can Sales Force be used to do this?

What are the best methods for recording content showing within Kodi 17.6 and saving it in a universal video format such as .AVI or .MPEG that can be watched later on a Windows, Mac, or Android device?

I will only be doing this with non copyrighted and non restricted content.

Are there any Kodi plug ins that will do this?

I have an Intel S2600CP server board in my lab that is currently running Windows Server 2012 R2.

I need to replace this server board with another Intel Server board that:

- Is fully compatible with Server 2016

- Will accept the two CPUs & RAM currently being used in the Intel S2600CP server board.

What are some Intel server boards that will be able to do this?

Please let me know if any further information is needed.

Attached is the manual and service manual for the Intel S2600CP server board.

Hello

I am doing a fitness trainer course alongside my computing and I am confused about the terms used to rotate the hip. The images on Google images also seem to be conflicting

Imagine the knee is bent and lifted up I thought lateral rotation was moving the hip away from the midline of the body to the leg makes a 'r' shape with the feumr being the top of the r and medially rotation was turning it back to its starting position.

This page states that external rotation is lateral rotation and it is the rotary movement that is occurring in the vertical axis when the femur moves away from midline, thereby turning the thigh or pelvis outward.1 the hip can rotate externally 45 degrees.

http://morphopedics.wikidot.com/hip-external-rotation

I extrpaolate from that that medial roation is internal rotation. Correct?

However the image I have attached called incorrect internal and external extension seems to suggest the opposite of the website. The second image is what I would have expected to see

Is the first image incorrect or have I misunderstood as there are so many different sites and pictures it can get confusing. But the second image is intuitive which does make it feel correct. The first image could be a labeling error. I hope so :)

Many thanks in advance

Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

After reviewing a commercial article creation tool at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLJWX13JPFc , I began wondering if there is a program which is similar or equivalent to it which can be downloaded and installed for free.

Any lead or leads will be greatly appreciated.

               Thank you

Is there any sort of framework or baseline checklist that could be used when assessing potential erp systems against each other or requirements of a business. Wherras each business will have different requirements there must surely be similarities

The deadly train derailment that occurred recently in DuPont, Washington, raises a lot of questions. It was a new route, the first trip tested with passengers, and the train was travelling at 50 mph over the zone’s speed limit. Could IoT play a role in infrastructure safety and prevent tragedies?

It is cold up here in the northeastern USA and Canada. A bit of moderation today.
My station wagon needed washing - salt coating the outside, salt on the rubber floor mats, grunge around the door jambs.

So I was out this morning (-16 C first thing) and drove over to our church making a stop on the way. Not even warm when I turned the car off. We came out, started up and it is now -8 C (warmer than it has been for 2 weeks).  We drove around a big block and I turned the heater on high. By the time we got very near home, the car was hot, the engine was nicely warm and the moving parts (transmission / transaxle / wheels and brakes) were running properly.

So into the car wash we go (soft cloth, water vacuum at the end), into my garage, wipe off the 5 door jambs all the way around. Carefully take out the mats (salty), shake them out and bring them inside and wash them and dry them. Put them back and lock them in place and wipe down here and there.

Nice clean car inside and out in freezing cold temperatures. It is all in how you do it. The hot car warms the garage to freezing or a little warmer with the door closed.

I have another open question here about car batteries.  I had washed and dried my sedan in mid-December and had not driven it since. It is clean and dry but a bit dusty. The roads are dry, so I though it be a good idea to start it (started right up after being off 3 and 1/2 weeks). I took it on a good highway drive and got it hot, put it in the garage. …

I forgot to shut off the water to the front and back yard hose bibs , I know they are frozen , I have hairdryers running on both of the bibs.

what next ? open the out side hose faucets and then turn the values off on the inside of the house  so that there is not any water left in the pipe freeze ?

and they get something like  this to cover it with?

How long do you think it will take a hairdryer to thaw it out if it is 18 F here ? is it hours or minutes ?

The user has to decide which app to get started with.
He uses PhotoShop, and has a license for the full Creative Cloud, but has heard rumors that ToonBoom might help him get started faster, and allow him to do more of the work himself.  He has also heard that all of the young animators prefer ToonBoom.

What is the word 'out there on the street?'  What are the advantages of one vs. the other?

Thanks

Are there any iPhone apps currently available that will provide auto complete suggestions after the first few numbers of a phone number have been entered on the iPhone?

These auto complete suggestions will come by querying my contacts, saved, and dialed phone numbers on the iPhone.

This is similar to typing in the first few characters of an email address within Outlook and then having a list of suggested email addresses appear.
