Office 365 is a group of software plus services subscriptions that provides productivity software and related services to its subscribers. Office 365 allows the use of Microsoft Office apps on Windows and OS X, provides storage space on Microsoft's cloud storage service OneDrive, and grants 60 Skype minutes per month. Office 365 includes e-mail and social networking services through hosted versions of Exchange Server, Skype for Business Server, SharePoint and Office Online, integration with Yammer, as well as access to the Office software. All of Office 365's components can be managed and configured through an online portal; users can be added manually, imported from a CSV file, or Office 365 can be set up for single sign-on with a local Active Directory using Active Directory Federation Services.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Just created a Sharepoint Slide Library on Office 365 but when I click on "Upload" then select "Publish Slides" I get the error "This feature requires Microsoft PowerPoint.  Either the application is not installed, or your browser is not configured to support ActiveX controls.  I have PowerPoint 2016 installed ( other users get the same error with PowerPoint 2010 installed).  I have also reset my IE (32 bit) security settings to default.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It wasn't my goal to plagiarize any content just to share with people here. As you can see I put " ... " meaning it's a citation.

Try not to take this the wrong way, but experts here see advertisements like this all the time, so we really don't need other experts copy-pasting them as their own post.  If you have a vested interest in this product then we'd prefer that you at minimum provide some unique content as to why we should view this.  Better yet would be to contact EE and pay for a vendor account.

I am sorry because this issue is really bugging me.  I'm running Excel Office 365 on Windows 10 i7 7700 and the control +click does absolutely nothing.

Please don't take it as blunt I'm just stating a fact after 2 or 3 hours of looking for the answer.

The marque just keeps rolling around the selected cells.

Thanks for offering an answer albeit not the correct one.

You might want to reask this as a question in the excel topic area for better results, instead of via a post.

NFR key for Veeam Agent for Linux

Veeam is happy to provide a free NFR license for one year.  It allows for the non‑production use and valid for five workstations and two servers. Veeam Agent for Linux is a simple backup tool for your Linux installations, both on‑premises and in the public cloud.

Happy to share my first article published on Expert Exchange.

that's rights, PSTs are hated by E-Discovery team, as they can not be searched through, but there are times when you need to export the data to PST from Office 365, like: migrate the mailbox to another office 365 tenant, or on a client request, some time compliance team may request to export data from users mailbox etc.

New freeware from CodeTwo to automate bulk upload of user photos to Office 365

Hi there,

We (CodeTwo) have released a new free tool for bulk Office 365 user photo management - CodeTwo User Photos for Office 365. This application is a twin program of our other well-known freeware for user photo management CodeTwo Active Directory Photos, but it operates in Office 365.

CodeTwo User Photos for Office 365 will handle everything from photo preparation, through auto matching, to straightforward bulk upload of users’ photos to Exchange Online mailboxes. No need to use PowerShell and the Set-UserPhoto cmdlet – the entire process is easily handled via an intuitive GUI.

Here you can watch how the program works:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6eLrwLVY3o&t=1s?sts=6789

You can also find more details on program’s official website or this blog post.

Enjoy!

Lesson learned this weekend: when doing a cut-over migration to Office 365 Exchange online, make sure you don't have existing users in Office 365,   Migration will refuse to provision the users as duplicates (seems like a bug to me).
