Office 365 is a group of software plus services subscriptions that provides productivity software and related services to its subscribers. Office 365 allows the use of Microsoft Office apps on Windows and OS X, provides storage space on Microsoft's cloud storage service OneDrive, and grants 60 Skype minutes per month. Office 365 includes e-mail and social networking services through hosted versions of Exchange Server, Skype for Business Server, SharePoint and Office Online, integration with Yammer, as well as access to the Office software. All of Office 365's components can be managed and configured through an online portal; users can be added manually, imported from a CSV file, or Office 365 can be set up for single sign-on with a local Active Directory using Active Directory Federation Services.

Heads up for Office 365 Users on the monthly channel: Version 1811 Build 11029.20079 has a bug that is breaking MAPI (used to send e-mails).  For Access, that means the SendObject command will fail, as will products such as vbMAPI or Outlook Redemption.

This is all the detail I have at the moment.  Not sure if it effects Access alone or all Office apps.

Exchange Admins,
Exchange Administrator of a O365 tenant that is using either DirSync or AADSync are no longer supported and may not work correctly. These tools are no longer supported as of April 2017, and after December 31, 2017 O365 team are not able to guarantee your connections from Windows Azure Active Directory Synchronization (DirSync) or Azure AD Sync work properly.  This may affect your ability to synchronize your local directory infrastructure with Office 365, and will result in users being unable to log in to their Office 365 services.

Recommended action
Azure Active Directory (AAD) Connect is the best way to connect your on-premises directory with Azure AD and Office 365.  Upgrade your sync functionality to the latest version of Azure AD Connect, which is the currently supported tool for syncing data to O365 cloud features.

I am sharing an Office 365 Calendar using a Security Group. When the calendar was initially shared, it sent invitation emails to the group members. How do I manage invitations when I add someone to the group? It doesn't appear to do it automatically.

gSuite help is still terrible.

I have several comments about how using paid support for Office 365 is far superior to the experience using gSuite including my comment on this article from 2015.

Yesterday's call to gSuite support reconfirms.  Problem is a user wants to have access to Android apps on his new Google Pixelbook. Going to settings on the Pixelbook to enable the feature is grayed out.  A call to Pixelbook support confirmed the issue is the user is a member of a business gSuite account and there is a feature that has to be turned on.  I was directed to call into gSuite. Calling gSuite support is about as helpful as talking to my 2 year old niece. The gSuite tech acted as if he had no knowledge of a Pixelbook. I had to explain several times it was a product of his own company. Even going down the Chromebook route didn't help. He could simply point to turning on a feature that was already set. Otherwise, I would have to call the Pixelbook Support.

I have called into office 365 support for many issues. Sometimes the issue went beyond the scope of what the tech should have helped for their own silo, but they still were able to spend 30 to 60 minutes on the phone to solve the issue with great patience and product knowledge.

After the sale support many times goes unnoticed or untested.  When evaluating a service or software, I will call in…

Hello,

We have a Windows 2008r2 server set up as a remote desktop server. The server currently has Office 2010 on it and we would like to update to Office 2016. We use Office 365 and I attempted to install, but received a message that we need a volume license. What do I have to do to get Office 2016 on here?

Hello,

I have a Dell H625cdw Copy\Scan\Printer that I am having issue getting to scan to email.   The owner of the device had lost the admin password so I had to factory reset it.   Now that it is factory reset I am not familure with the SMTP settings to make it work.   The owner is using Office 365 and I am using smtp.0ffice365.com as the SMTP server.   I have tried several of the authentication type settings but expect that is the current issue.   Can someone give me a little guidance with this unit please.   Thank you

Its resumed now. I tested in private/incongnito window.

Not all emails show in Outlook 2013 but are in respective folders in Office 365.

We migrated this summer for Exchange on site to Office 365 and moved up to Outlook 2013. Working pretty good but for a few users emails that hit the inbox are moved to folders and then they disappear. No filters are applied, we've turned cacheing on and off and as you can see from the screenshot properties/syncronization the system sees there should be 5 items on the server (there is) and in the offline folder (we don't see them).

Been banging my head on this for a month and I'm out of ideas. I've moved the sub-folders around from root to below inbox and it's only a handful of folders. Renamed them, recreated them...those emails do not want show up in Outlook 2013 but are 100% there in the web interface!screenshot of outlook 2013 and missing emails
