We have 2007 Outlook. Emails, even very small ones take a long time to go out. When they do go out they are repeating so the recipients get numerous copies of the email. Would this be a virus, an Outlook problem or what.
Above all how do we solve this problem.

We have a public records request for about 2 years worth of calendar information from three of our accounts.  At least one of these accounts uses their account to track personal information like kids Dr. appointments and a few other things.    Is it possible to go back through these old calendar appointments and redact the personal information?   So far I am able to "highlight" in black anything in the body of the appointment but I am not able to do anything with the subject line or location.

Not all emails show in Outlook 2013 but are in respective folders in Office 365.

We migrated this summer for Exchange on site to Office 365 and moved up to Outlook 2013. Working pretty good but for a few users emails that hit the inbox are moved to folders and then they disappear. No filters are applied, we've turned cacheing on and off and as you can see from the screenshot properties/syncronization the system sees there should be 5 items on the server (there is) and in the offline folder (we don't see them).

Been banging my head on this for a month and I'm out of ideas. I've moved the sub-folders around from root to below inbox and it's only a handful of folders. Renamed them, recreated them...those emails do not want show up in Outlook 2013 but are 100% there in the web interface!screenshot of outlook 2013 and missing emails

Hi,
We are running Exchange Server 2010 with 300 mailboxes connecting to it. Since one week outlook clients connecting over http are disconnecting randomly. This problem does not appear on activesynch connected devices nor on Outlook clients directly connected over the LAN to the exchange server. Webmail is also working fine.
does anyone have a clue ?

Outlook 2013  message recall didn't send notification. I recalled the message and  got a notification that it succeeded or failed for all receipiants except one user that had his " out of the Office " message on .

Hello Team,
when saving an email in outlook 2010 or use the drag and drop, I get the following error msg
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer" please contact your administrator.
however, when you close the error it will let  you save the file.

anyone has seen this issue before?

I've recently made the switch to inbox (by Google) that I believe has a much closer to outlook interface than gmail, which is why I like it.
There's the action buttons on each message, reminders, archiving etc. Also runs in its own window, which can also be pinned to the taskbar.
Gmail has none of this (other than be pinned/run as own window)
If it wasn't for Inbox, I'd probably go back to outlook.

I have been using inbox on my gmail account for my android phone and outlook for my desktop.  

I do like some of the less cluttered look of inbox but you can't do everything in inbox as you can with gmail.  So now in typical Google fashion, they have 2 products where one is the shiny new thing that is missing features.  At some point, one of of these things is going to go or not get much love.  

Google Voice took the back seat to Hangouts, now hangouts has changed and Voice has been updated.  Talk was completely merged to hangouts.  Making a call from gmail used to be via talk which turned into voice, but now making a call from gmail is via hangouts.

Have you ever spent time developing with google products/api's?  Have fun because they tend to sunset and change things quickly.

Xenapp 6.5 Intermittent issues since KB4012215 (WannaCry security fix)

Hi All,

Ever since we installed KB4012215 as part of MS recommended protection against ransomware\ 'Wannacry' into our Windows 2008 R2 Xenapp 6.5 base image we've seen constant intermittent issues with file handles and permissions related to user profiles, UPM, Office applications and RDS.

Issue 1 - when user logs on\ launches a session:  
Word - 'your autocorrect file C:\users\user\appdata\roaming\microsoft\office\MSO3081.acl could not be saved - click OK 'Word cannot open the existing file normal.dot'

Issue 2- when user logs on\ launches a session:
Outlook signature file goes missing for customers - they'll add and then they'll lose it again on another session later.

There seem be weird file and handler locks and registry handles not being released properly or quickly enough after logon. i.e. an application wont recognise required datafiles (XML) in user\ \appdata\roaming profile folder even though the file\ folder definitely exists and can be written to.
To our frustration we cannot replicate the problem however it seems that the issues manifest when a user logs onto a specific CITRIX server the first time around and then relaunch an application session on THAT server again within a given timeframe. Testing further indicates that if a user is logged off completely and then they log back onto that same server the issue is NOT present.

Found this too recently and ISP said it was listed as spam even though I know it wasn't. Seems to happen with pdf a lot. Try add to whitelist and check if server is not maybe blacklisted
